I see the cup as half-full and I know that more water is forthcoming. My brother is just the opposite. His cup is almost empty and someone has peed in the rest of his water. Silly.

I don't actually think a cup is ever exactly halfway full/empty. But I'm an optimist, so I'd say it's half full... unless somebody drank my glass of whatever without asking, then it'd be half empty and full of germs. ;-)

if i`m thirsty i see it half full, if i just drank some water then i see it half empty because i don`t care anyway.

if im angry or frustrated, its half empty
if I'm happy and hopeful, i feel like its half full or even (rarely) full
