I don't understand. Most of my friends from high school (and now in college) are always like "dude, let's get drunk" (girls and boys). All they talk about doing on the weekend is how drunk they got.
I've had really bad experiences with the few times I've drunk alcohol in excess, and I just don't understand why they think it's so cool too be outta their minds without being able to tell right from wrong? So many things could happen, for example, girl gets drunk, guy takes advantage of her, she gets pregnant. So why do they do that???

I've narrowed mine down to three. The Spider, The Fox, and the Snake.
The spider for how it can be unobserved, how it can hide in the corners and watch all, with out being noticed. And for it's ability to entrap others in its web.

The Fox, for its slyness and brains.

The Snake for its venom, and strength.

What are your inner animals and what do they mean for you?

Evolution is the result of variation and natural selection. After a certain point, an offspring will have to have some pretty significant mutations (in addition to natural selection for certain already-present alleles) present in order to be of a different species than the population it was derived from, although this can take many (an understatement) generations. Supposing that an offspring was a different species than its parents, it would not be able to produce offspring that could produce offspring. Are there supposed to be two of these new species being born around the same time, or are mutations supposed to be gradual, with offspring continuously being compatible with the rest of the population (intermediary species)? Also, what are the chances that these mutations come out favorably (i.e., Down Syndrome), and does the amount of time given for evolution to occur take this into account? Again, just asking, not trying to disprove anything.

how much poops out of 10 does this qualify as good?

An athiest was taking a walk through the valley of shadow of death woods. My, what majestic trees! What beautiful animals! What powerful rivers! He said to himself.

As he was walking alongside a powerful river he heard a loud rustling in the bushes behind him. He turned to look. He saw a seven foot grizzly bear charge toward him.

He ran as fast as he could up the path. He looked back and saw the bear was closing. He looked again. The bear was even closer. In fear mode his legs failed; he tripped and fell on the ground. He rolled over to pick himself up, but the bear was now on top of him, reaching for him with his left paw and raising his right paw to strike him.

The athiest cried out: "Oh my God!" Immediately time stopped, the bear froze, the forest and river went silent. A bright light shone on the athiest, and a voice came out of the sky: "You deny my existence all these years, teach others I don't exist, even credit what I created and made to cosmic accident. And now you cry out to me, expect me to help you out of this predicament? Am I to now count you as a believer?"

The athiest looked into the bright light and said: "It would be hypocritical of me to suddenly ask you to treat me as a Christian believer now, but perhaps you could grant me a wish: make the bear a Christian instead". "Very well", said the skyward voice. The bright light went out. The sounds of the forest and river resumed.

The bear dropped his right paw about to strike, brought both paws together, bowed his head to the ground, and spoke these words: "Lord, Bless this food I am about to eat, having received it from thy bounty through Christ Jesus the lord. Amen.".

I grew up using the word "of" to denote "minutes before" when explaining time. Is this a regional expression (NY) or just something wrong?

Have one big rally? Or do a candle light vigil while having a tear-fest?

I think halting human reproduction would be a good way. What better protest could there be than ending humanity altogether!

I think the bible should be interpreted in today's contexts. The "In the beginning there was light" exactly matches with the scientific theory. The Big Bang WAS just light, very bright light which condensed into matter. It appeared from nowhere.

I think it does great disservice to the genius of god to say that life suddenly arose from brute mystical power. The intricacies of evolution is the real beauty of god, for those who choose to believe in god.
I think there is a reference in Genesis of god spreading seed and and the best seed growing bigger and better than the others.

Outside japanese restaurants, someone usually stands outside, welcoming passers-by and encouraging them to eat there. You don't often see it in the UK, but what would they be called? I don't want the Japanese title, I want the English equivalent.
