Well como can mean:
How are you?- Como estas?
Your eyes are like the blue skies- Tus ojos son como el cielo azul.
Que can mean:
Que haces- What are you doing?
Prefiero la playa antes que el campo- I prefer the beach before the country
El nene que te gusta- The boy that you like
