I totally agree with "correlationrevelations" answer. She is correct...No one is either in Heaven or Hell now, anyway...That is a future happening. (and besides that, Hell means the grave, according to the Bible, so I think that when we die, we go to the grave, not to Heaven or to an eternal hellfire, as some think. According to the Bible, as I've studied this fascinating topic, I've proven that we are all to be judged at a time in the future, as "correlation" mentions. After that, if a person is not found to be worthy to be with God, they are given a second chance to learn how God really wants us to live, to follow Christ, and they would have to chose, after knowing right from wrong, and if they still decide NOT to obey God, they will be put to death in a consuming fire, They are not tortured for all eternity; as some believe; that scenario is from "Dantes Inferno"!
But...to answer your question as to whether Heaven or Hell would be more thickly populated, all I can say is that, hopefully, when God allows us to know the truth, Heaven will be extremely populated, and that not many will perish in the fire.

That would be a tricky question. It all depends on if children that die before they reach the age of accountability. I believe deceased children are in heaven with God, although I haven't read that in the Bible yet, but if it is true then I would say heaven would be more populated. Just look at this country alone. There are over 1 million abortions performed in this country in 1 year! That's alot of mansions for those eternal souls.

Hell. The Bible says that wide is the path to destruction. It is easier to get into Hell than Heaven, because you don't have to do anything.

I don't think any person is in heaven OR hell right now - I think that happens when Judgement Day occurs. I hope there will be more people in heaven.

HELL.
Matthew 7:13-14
“Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction[hell], and there are MANY who go in by it.
Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are FEW who find it"

Matthew 7 says there are many in hell and few in heaven. I'll take that as my answer too.

A guess? Heaven.

Once read of a rabbi who said it was better to be in hell with everyone else than to be in heaven alone, though.

it may appear like it somewhat is the case. Matthew 7:13 "enter by way of the narrow gate; for extensive is the gate and vast is the way that ends up in destruction, and there are a number of that bypass in by way of it. 14 as a results of fact narrow is the gate and confusing is the way which ends up in existence, and there are few who discover it. John 10:7 Then Jesus pronounced to them back, "maximum oftentimes, I say to you, i'm the door of the sheep. 8 All who ever got here formerly Me are thieves and robbers, however the sheep did no longer hear them. 9 i'm the door. If all of us enters by way of Me, he would be stored, and could bypass in and out and discover pasture.

Heaven. This is coming an optimistic person who feels there is more good than evil out there. It's controlling those "bad seeds" that we must work on. One rotten apple spoils the whole bunch, or so they say...
