We just moved and our new neighbors invited us to their wedding. I am stumped on their gift, however. I'm not sure if they drink, I was thinking maybe a wine basket but my luck is they are recovering alcoholics. Any suggestions? I want to spend around $50.

As someone who once denied that there was a god ro afterlife, I was floored after answering a question addressed to "ex-atheists." Every other answer was from atheists saying that there was no such thing as an ex-atheist, it wasn't allowed. So, apparently you're not allowed to change your mind and once you do, your previous title is stripped away.

Christ found me, and my life has never been the same. That doesn't change what I used to believe.

I don't get this. Can someone explain? And they call theists closed minded.

okay so im having problems with seeing the difference of nationality and race i know the race like black white and the nationality of american english but if your mom is french born and raised in france and you are born and raised in america are you considered all french also are the french white.

okay so i was wondedering i considerate myself half mexican and half black but in fact my grandfather on my moms side is half chinese and half spanish (from spain) and my grandma side is half indian ( i think it cherokee) and half indian. so am i supoose to say all of that or can i just keep saying im half mexican and half black

I posted a question about moving from florida to south carolina, and how I recently just got a postion as a massage therapist with good money. I talked about a dream, and some asked about the man in my dream. The answer is I dont know who this man is, but I felt myself slipping into a different conciousness with the realm of my dreams. It was quite frightening that I kept waking up to look around my bedroom, but I felt so weak when I did. It was very bizarre, and Im sure the conversation I had with my friend about a different state of conciousness that I go into when Im massaging.

got this great email and it references a "B&T chick" as a very derrogatory term. Does anyone know what this means? All I can find out is that it would generally indicate someone who lived in an area outlying Manhattan.

I know this doesn't happen anymore (or at least, I haven't heard that it does), but it used to - Christians would go in and baptize whole tribes which they had defeated, whether or not they wanted to be baptized. Are those baptisms valid? Please cite your sources.

It seems that people who claim to know a lot about the church make stupid statements like that Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon by looking in to a hat? During mass when The Lords Prayer is said do you strech your arms out (I think the name for this is the Orans Posture) or do you hold hands with the person near you, or do you fold your hands, or something else? Do you think it's alright to stretch your arms out?

This is a very unacceptable word in today's society....So why do black people derive pleasure in calling other black people 'n-i-g-g-e-r'...when this word is such an abomination...I know white ppl say it too but how comes it appears more acceptable when it comes from a black person to another black person...I have friends in the US who think it s fun to use that word to describe their collegues etc...when frankly I think its disgraceful!!!

Ok ,so at the job I work at there is one guy who is a control fresk, bi-polar, and a downright whiny a s s....what I want to know is how in the world do you deal with him when he gets in your face, other people's faces, is a huge d i c k to everyone whenb he doesn't get his way. Oh yeah and by the way when the boss is around he is perfect, perfect little employee.....good little boy, here you go have a biscuit....whatever. Several of us have expressed our problem with him and our boss has just told him to stop being an a s s....I cannot stand it anymore!!! I have told him to his face that when he can stop being a d i c k then he can talk to me, unitl then I do not want to even hear his voice, what do I get first thing this morning, I am missing something that is his responsibility...I inform him, I get the mega jerk in return....huge a s s....please help, do I just shoot him, kick him in the nuts, slash his tires....what do I need to do, I hate this man...or a specimen of a man!!!
