Mat 6:5 "And now about prayer. When you pray, don't be like the hypocrites who love to pray publicly on street corners and in the synagogues where everyone can see them. I assure you, that is all the reward they will ever get.
Mat 6:6 But when you pray, go away by yourself, shut the door behind you, and pray to your Father secretly. Then your Father, who knows all secrets, will reward you

I definitely prefer to pray in private, but I will pray discretely in a public place if I must.

yes and have no problem in doing so as there have been times I've needed help and Praying never hurts. strange as it may seem I prayed before calling my fiance and while talking She mentioned her mother needed information after I had made a comment on a question here and have the information ready to send her.

Silently yes, all the time. Especially when I realize how much fun I'm having enjoying my life, that only belongs to me and Him. Out at a club or party or amusement park, I look up to the heavens and give Him a thank you, a sincere heartfelt "Thank You for everything!":o]

Absolutely.
Whenever I go out to eat, I pray.
If I am with my family we pray out loud.
Why be ashamed-it's a witness to people!

Prayer songs written by saints (Aabtha vaakyam) can be sung openly in public-chances are that-others who know it may join-Collective prayers.Personal wishes (prayers)are said within one's own mind

Yes. I believe in offering thanks before eating a meal and will pray even when eating in public.

I don't go in the middle of the street and start catching the Holy Ghost... but I might say a quick prayer of thanks or forgiveness when i'm out there and nobody'll know because I don't advertise it.

When I feel so called but usually not openly or obviously. There are however times when I have felt the need or call to do so.
