I have heard it is a very bad book.

I have heard of them, however since I have to schedule my reading time, I have to be picky about what I read. I usually look for reputable publishers, well known Christian authors or things recommended by people I know. It is interesting to read other things though, just to know what is popular, etc. I have teenagers so I try to keep up on what's out there. There is a magazine called, "Plugged In," you can access on line and it reviews all music, movies, books etc. Check it out. take care.

Yes. Fictional books written by a man who said "What If God was like this?" He wasn't trying to go with the Bible. He was writing a Fictional story.... You know, fantasy, one without truth, a story... like those Left Behind Series.

No I recommend The End of the Age by P Robertson...fascinating and reads just like a novel...makes Revelation come alive

No, I haven't. Have you heard of these ones - The End of Faith by Sam Harris or The Demon-Haunted World by Carl Sagan?

yes, I've heard of them, and I've heard they are wonderful.

I have not personally read them, but I'm curious what sort of things you find to "go totally against the bible" as I suspect the conflict is in your understanding and inteperetation, rather than an actual conflict of truth.

if you'd rather E-mail I'd be happy to discuss it.

nope i haven't.. they don't sound 2 good if they go totally against the bible.. if you want a good christian book get:
single, saved and having sex by ty adams,
kissed the girls and made them cry by lisa bevere
or
secrets to the irrestiable woman by michelle mickenney hammond..

Check the publisher.
If it's Zondervan, you can pretty much discount whatever is written.

If they do not line up with scripture, then have nothing to do with them. And go to amazon.com and give them bad reviews!
