For me, luck is the word used to describe the phenomenon of random chance sometimes going in your favour and sometimes against. I don't believe that people can be intrinsically lucky or unlucky, or that objects or actions bring good or bad luck or that wishing a person luck has any effect, other than to express a desire for random chance to go in their favour. I don't believe in God, though.

I don't believe in luck. God controls everything.

Uh.

Some people don't BELIEVE in God. You don't have to believe in 'luck' because it's just a human concept describing something that happens in your favor.

Actually they are equal since luck is nothing but random chance, and a non-existent god does not alter random chance.
