got this great email and it references a "B&T chick" as a very derrogatory term. Does anyone know what this means? All I can find out is that it would generally indicate someone who lived in an area outlying Manhattan.

Your help is greatly appreciated!

Bridge & Tunnel, meaning that the person has to travel via one or the other to get to Manhatten, which is the cool place, meaning a B&T person is disadvantaged and worthy of scorn or pity.

(this is NOT my opinion, just passing on something I'd heard, I lived in Queens, myself, and so WAS a "B&T!!!)

Bridge & Tunnel - someone who commutes into Manhattan rather than lives there.
