In a discussion of politics he stated that he did not think gays/lesbians should be allowed in public life. He was particularly harsh on gays teaching in public school. In your expirience is this a commonly held "christian" attitude?

Why are all the christians and atheists on this site SO obsessed with the others beliefs?Why is it so vital to everyone to DEMAND proof of the others beliefs and to try so hard to convince them they are wrong?, to insult and degrade each other?
Christians: If u have such a problem with atheists/evolutionists and cannot believe that the Bible is wrong, why can't u just be happy knowing that in the end u will be in Heaven with God and we will be burning in Hell? Is your life any better after arguing with an atheist on here? Do u feel closer to Jesus? Are u a better person?
Atheists: Why does it bother u so much that some people believe in Life after Death and a Supreme Being? Does it really matter if they are wrong since the same thing happens to all of us when we die? Is your life changed by them insisting evolution is a lie? Are u really affected by someone else saying dinosaurs lived in Eden 6,000 years ago?

Isn't it important that we all just be good human beings TODAY?

The cutie-pie butch woman who delivers me my Diet Pepsi (okay, fills the office vending machines) was very upset because a man asked for her number today. She wondered why he didn't "get it."

My wife is deliberately scrambled in her gender presentation and teaches martial arts. She's not offended when men ask her out, but she frequently wonders why a wiry bald woman who recently whupped their @$$es would interest her male students.

I think it's because they're both beautiful and because, as my straight brother says, "Men don't really want what we're told to want." But does anyone have any other theories as to why straight men would like butch and ki-ki women? I'm interested, and I know those lovely ladies would be, too.

Why is this labled gay club wear? If it was fit for a women, i'd wear it with a small little top I know how to make out of a bandana. Thats why I looked at to begin with, to see if it would fit over my breasts.

I usually avoid all communication with a person when I learn they are a Creationist. I went through a phase of talking with them thinking I could learn from them and they could learn from me but have since learned people whose world view is based on religious fundamentalism have too much resistance for a change of mind and are in most cases unwilling to have a change of mind.

I've always stated if there was evidence for their side I would love to see it, unfortunately, 100% of the time it has been junk science and not real science.

Just wondering how other Evolutionists approach these issues, are you friends with Creationists, and how do you deal with the religious fundamentalist world view that has an unwillingness to accept evidences for a world view contrary to their own.

o.k I know i'm gonna get a lot of hands down - bad comments - and all that stuff - well it does not matter - but after a research i found out that something against God , nature , family and society - I mean i don't judge anyone here - I'm not against you guys - i'm against the sexual behaviour - i was reading a passage where it says " that God created women so men cannot be alone" well if you meditate in that statement is all true - I know that is hard to believe you coul be wrong !! but my point here is that - that's not the way me and women were created!! I've seen gays restored and become heal.. you can be too

If a woman is grabbing a man's testicles and he's in serious pain, is it ok for him to punch her in the face in self defense, so he can get away? What would you do if you saw a man hit a woman in this situation? Personally, I think it's completely justified. I would hit a woman in this situation.
