Believe that JEUSUS is THE GOD!

1 GOD became a man !
2 HE was perfect in all ways !
3 HE was seen by angels as HE was
originally (THE GOD), and as a man !
4 HE taught the non Jewish ( as well as many Jews) !
5 HIS teachings were (and are) believed by MANY people !
6 HE returned to HIS place - we call that place heaven !

Take a look at your life, are you happy? Being a Christian is about accepting that Jesus is the Son of God and he Died and rose again for us.
When you first become a Christian you will not be able to stop all the wrongs in your life immediatly, you will be a baby Christian,
hence the term born again. The most important thing is that learn about Christ etc, and slowly your life will change and you will find joy and contentment, forgiveness and love.
I know this personally as I was a really bad person and I now work as an Evangelist. Take a look at the website listed bellow its full of quotes from people like you.

May God Bless you

It really depends on the type of Christian you want to be! Their are so many types!

You say a simple prayer giving your life to God! Then you join a church which you feel comfortable in and be baptised to cleanse you of all sin.

Visit a Christian bookshop to find a bible you like! Their are so many types! Modern English ones, street language ones, traditional King James ones, The international versions, the Good news and Catholic bibles with three extra books that the Protestants removed!

The smoking is fine! I know nuns who smoke, drinking depends on how Protestant you want to be.. my Catholic church has its own built in pub (I kid you not! Its great!), some Christians do not even drink real wine for communion! The swearing has to stop and particularly the 'Oh my G*ds' This is all in the bible! All the rules are their but do not expect to understand it without a guide as it was written in the first century and before! A simple guide is 'the bible for dummies.'

Welcome to a new way of life! God bless you!

It's not hard at all. In fact, becoming a Christian is more something that happens to you rather than something that you do.

What's happening is that the Holy Spirit is courting your spirit much as a guy would date you. Since this is happening in the spiritual realm, we can't see it, but you are feeling the effect. This is evidence that Jesus is calling you and probably that He has known you since before the beginning of time.

OK, so what might you do to respond? Merely talk to him. Using Jesus name, Jesus, ask him to live in your heart and be lord of your life. If there is a group of Christians that you already know and trust, then tell them that you have done this and ask what they think about or how you might be baptized. Baptism is merely a public symbol of the decision that you have already made.

Jesus will take it from there. He will now begin to teach you in the Spirit. You may find that you have a greater appetite for reading and studying the Bible. If so , go for it! Remember this will be a life long journey and you will grow into your spiritual self as a child grows. So do be patient with yourself.

Here is an online book that will help you get a grip on what real Christianity is all about.

First and most importantly buy a bad sweater. Fashion and Christianity are not good companions.

Find some really bad middle of the road 'rock' band that has changed all the lyrics to sound like all the normal christian gibberish.. jesus wants me for a sunbeam.

Use really odd language never heard in any normal conversation ... I have brought the Lord Jesus Christ into my life, I have been born again through the love of etc etc

Stop listening, start talking - subject matter irrelevant, everyting that is said by one of the unclean will be bad and wrong and obviously the works of Satan. (one of Gods odder creations - for God - see Bipolar).

Become very very dull.

There its easy.

Becoming a christian is simply done by repenting of your sins and asking Jesus to be lord of your life, it's possibly better to ask a mature christian to be with you as it can be quite an emotional time. As for what you have to give up, you don't HAVE to give up anything, God will accept you as you are, however, be prepared, you will start to find things you used to do, don't seem so good any more, that's the Holy Spirit working in you.

Follow Acts 2:38

Read Acts, what does it say?

Ac 2:37 When the people heard this, their hearts were filled with shame. They said to Peter and the other apostles, “Brothers, what should we do?”
Ac 2:38 Peter replied, “All of you must turn away from your sins and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then your sins will be forgiven. You will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Ac 2:39 The promise is for you and your children. It is also for all who are far away. It is for all whom the Lord our God will choose.”
Ac 2:40 Peter said many other things to warn them. He begged them, “Save yourselves from these evil people.”
Ac 2:41 Those who accepted his message were baptized. About 3,000 people joined the believers that day

Ac 8:12 But Philip preached the good news of God’s kingdom. He preached the name of Jesus Christ. So men and women believed and were baptized.

Ac 8:36 As they traveled along the road, they came to some water. The official said, “Look! Here is water! Why shouldn’t I be baptized?”
Ac 8:38 He gave orders to stop the chariot. Then both Philip and the official went down into the water. Philip baptized him.

Ac 9:17 Then Ananias went to the house and entered it. He placed his hands on Saul. “Brother Saul,” he said, “you saw the Lord Jesus. He appeared to you on the road as you were coming here. He has sent me so that you will be able to see again. You will be filled with the Holy Spirit.”
Ac 9:18 Right away something like scales fell from Saul’s eyes. And he could see again. He got up and was baptized.

Ac 10:47 “Can anyone keep these people from being baptized with water? They have received the Holy Spirit just as we have.”
Ac 10:48 So he ordered that they be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then they asked Peter to stay with them for a few days.

.....EVERY TIME scripture records someone becoming a Christian, the story is the same.

1- Admit you are a sinner (Romans 3:10, 23 John 5:12)
2- Realize God's price on sin (Romans 6:23, Revelation 21:14)
3- Tell God with your mouth, and believe with your heart that Jesus is God, and that he died, was buried, and rose for you to pay for your sins (Romans 10:9,10)
4 -Call on Jesus to save you (Romans 10:13)

Its a FREE GIFT ASK FOR IT!!
Pray and ask God to protect you from the false beliefs and religions that want to swallow you up in their deceit.
Find a bible believing church (A church that believes that the Bible is the infallible, inerrant Word of God If you call and ask the church pastor this, he should be able to give you a straight answer on this. If he hems and haws, move on.

Take Care.

Agree with God that you are a sinner and pray in your own words:

Lord God, God of the universe. Thank you for sending your Son so that I can know you personally. Please forgive my sin. Thank you that you are all powerful and can give eternal life. I accept the gift of salvation through your Son, Jesus Christ and ask that you would baptize me in the Holy Spirit. Thank you in Jesus name,
AMEN.

Be sure to go to a new believers Bible study in your area. Try a non-denominational group (like a Calvary Chapel) that teaches the Bible verse-by-verse. Avoid topical messages that can be about whatever the pastor chooses. Look for a group that does not have heavy membership requirements or big monetary drives.

Blessings to you.
