i think that certain words in our language are looked down upon because of some fear or taboo associated with them, like "the N word" that sounds like part of Arnold Schwarzenegger's name. Or "September 11th." By allowing these words so much power over us and our emotions, we force ourselves into ignorance. So i propose a little experiment. your assignment is to use a word today in conversation and then report back what you said and what the reaction was. Now obviously you cant REALLY say "I havent seen any one get screwed that bad since September 11th" when your order at the Mc Donalds drive thru window is wrong, but you can use the word "honky". It is a relatively harmless slur. So go forth and use the word "honky" and then tell us about it! best story gets the points!

some of them get mad because I don't include them in everything. everyone has their preference, right. I like chics with class, and everybody knows that black chics don't have as much class as white chics, or asian chics. lets be honest. so I think it's okay if I don't mention them sometimes if they don't fit the conversation.

Why is it when you are the grocery store and you are in line and you have put your stuff on the black belt thingy and the person behind you is like running over you? Why can't they wait at least until you move up a little to start puting their stuff on the thingy? That is so rude! I mean the check out lady has not even gotten half way through with my stuff and I have not even put my debit card in the machine. Its okay if there is room on the belt for their stuff but standing within inches of me and pushing me out of the way with their buggy, that is just mean. Now if they have something heavy, then I offer for them to put their stuff onthe belt if there is room for it. But people just get way to close for comfort in my opinion. Anyway I was just wondering if anyone else knew why people are so rude. Thanks!

It makes me sick to see that no one cares why theses people are homeless.people just look down on them and carry on walking by.
I blame the goverment for not opening more night shelters and helping them find a better way to live.

I think it is possible. Many of you say being immortal would suck because all of your family would die before you. So what! There are people who lose their entire family because of disease war or disaster, they usually still live full lives, they dont go leaping off of buildings. You say you dont want to be all old and decrepid. Who says living forever would mean you would be some wrinkled old geezer for eternity? Open your minds people. If your family died, start a new one. Your friends die, make new ones. There are old people living right now who have lost their kids, spouses, friends, and pets, yet they aint in a rush to meet the grim reaper. Stop acceepting death as necessary.

In our solar system lies a planet called Pluto. The existence or non existence of Pluto does not in any way effect our Planet or Us(human beings).
Science has in modern days conclusively proven that all man mades known concept of God or Religion is not true.
When you are an Atheist it implies that you are taking a Concrete step and a fixed stand that there is no God, thus you are as stubborn as thesists.
What if God is like the planet pluto whose existence or non existence is in no way effecting our planet.
Come on we and ou planet are an insignificant spec in this Universe, is it necessary if there is a God in the Universe should we even come in his purview.
What I am asking is that the thesist may be wrong, but when you take a firm stand as theirs you may also be wrong.

I don't have any background in Spanish. I'm fluent in French. The people in the diner all speak Spanish to each other. Should I make the effort to order food and say "thank you" and "have a nice day" in Spanish.

What do you think? Would they be glad that I tried or annoyed that I fumble my way through Spanish?

I am 14 and have never been trick or treating.
My dad says its a form of begging and never lets me go.
does any one have any ideas how i can persuade him?

2.)
I have a basic plan: see if i can stay at my freinds house at 8:00
and tell my dad its 6:00. Then, I will dress up and go. I will return to my freinds house and sleep there.

Did you know that this Friday (the thirteenth) American companies will loose between 800 and 900 million dollars just because employees are scarced of going to work, traveling or signing contracts! I ccan think of a lot of other things that money could be spent on. So go to work!
