Aren't they supposed to be modest? Why do they want to be prettier than they actually are? It seems kinda sinful to me. If I were a women and did what the Bible said, I'd cover up like a Muslim.

I find it very interesting that so many born-again Christians are so anti-environmental? Why do you hate the Earth and all its animals which God created? Why do you want to make us all sick from dirty water and air. Why? I find this very hypocritical and evil. If anything dont you think God will send you to burn in Hell for helping to destroy his Creation?

My roommate and best friend just informed me today that she's been "hooking up" with a girl (another one of our friends). I'm not sure what that exactly means since she didn't give me details but i'm not sure how to be supportive. i told her that i was here for her if she needed to talk and that i will accept her no matter what happens. this is the first time she's kissed a girl and she says that she's confused about whether she's gay, straight or bi. any suggestions about how i can be a supportive friend in this situation? i really respect her courage for telling me about this, it seemed like a very difficult thing for her to do. serious answers only, please

Paul arguably is the bible writer who has most influenced the course of Christianity. He wrote over 88,000 words of the NT. Well over 50 years before the first Gospel of Mark was written, much closer to Jesus times. But yet he never quotes Jesus, doesn't mention his virgin birth, his miracles. Doesn't seem to think Jesus was a real man who walked the earth.

This is not a question but a request for prayer for my son who is serving our great country in a war torn Iraq. He is 20 years old and has becoome really depressed since he arrived over there and is sucidal. He believes in prayer he was raised in church and but he is having flashbacks about his biological mother abusing him a as a child. There is a few other things that is bothering him and has him so depressed that he is threating to put his m16 in his mouth and pull the trigger. I have contacted the Red Cross and they have contacted his company commander and the commander has taken his firing pin and his ammo until he can get his life back on track. This war is taking it's toll on our soldiers over there and they need to come back home.

Okay well my friend who I should not named is a Buddhist and people are really injustifying her feelings. They say she's stupid to be a Buddhist, that she should convert to Christianity. But I don't really think that's fair, and it's whatever she wants to believe let her believe.

You see, I am a christian, but I do NOT put down other religions just cuz I don't believe them.

But these people in class are making me f*c*ing mad.

What Do YOU THINK? My friend is deeply, almost what I would call depressed. Do you think it's fair? Some people are just soo freaking obessesed with their own beliefs, can't they just take a break and give others a chance?! I mean because of this i would go buddhist for the sake of my friend. its terrible...they call her a ***** cuz shes buddhist and saying that buddha is just fake and lazy and dumb and now she's crying her head off. she can be really sensitive, but wouldnt anyone if they called their God dumb and lazy? give me advice and dnt be racist!
