Paul arguably is the bible writer who has most influenced the course of Christianity. He wrote over 88,000 words of the NT. Well over 50 years before the first Gospel of Mark was written, much closer to Jesus times. But yet he never quotes Jesus, doesn't mention his virgin birth, his miracles. Doesn't seem to think Jesus was a real man who walked the earth.

The dead and risen Christ Paul refers to was a Man-God who had done this in heaven, outside of time...not a real man who had walked the earth and died a man. Paul was heavily influenced by Mithraism. He talked of the spirit of christ being in him, as someone else would of demon posession.

For all you scripture quoters.....not a single one of the scriptures you've quoted out of context disproves anything I've said....It is you who really need to read your bibles....even all the boring bits too, and not just jump around from quote to quote. It's almost like you could prove anything by selective quotation...hmmmm

Wow dude...obsessive! Looks more like you've copied that from an anti-Earl Dougherty site than come up with those spontaneously. I looked up a couple dozen at random and yes, they all "mention" Jesus or Christ...but none of them refer to a physical Christ, but a metaphorical or allegorical christ. We could have a pissing contest all day, but you've avoided the main point. Paul, who supposedly was a contemporary of this earth bound god makes more references to OT prophets, he does not quote any of Jesus famous sayings, mentions no miracles, and with a few debatable exceptions, the Jesus Paul talks about does not seem to be the same one the Gospel writers spoke of.

Paul, like Jesus, was an initiated gnostic and they didn’t believe in miracles.

There are 219 references to Jesus in Pauline Epistles.
How many times does Paul have to refer to the crucifixion of Jesus Christ in order to prove you and the video maker wrong?

This arguement was presented by Earl Doherty. This guy thinks that Paul never wrote about the historical Jesus. But he did! And I have given you much evidence that must be seen by you, unless you derive all of your learned expertise from music videos! lol

"Well over 50 years before the first Gospel of Mark was written,"
That is one story. It wasn't until the 19th cetury that it was thought that the Gospel of Mark had gained acceptance as being the fist Gospel written. But you cannot have it both ways. Either the Gospel of Mark was written as you say it was, or it was written after all the other ones. I guess that makes a difference to you. It's the content that I am concerned with.

"But yet he never quotes Jesus, doesn't mention his virgin birth, his miracles. "
Galatians 4:4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,
5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.
Here we have Jesus being born. And that He is the Redeemer. A miracle? Are redeemers born EVERYDAY? lol

I guess you are wrong again!

"Doesn't seem to think Jesus was a real man who walked the earth."
He was born of a woman. Is there something else that men do after they are born of a woman? Hmmmmm?

Really tjreamer, music videos are never going to replace sincere study!

St. Paul found out that the only element that truly mattered in existence became Jesus Christ. Our stay here in the international is non everlasting and eternity is consistently. Why waste time here in the international whilst it's going to ascertain the place you will stay for eternity?

Apparently you have not read his works. What do you think a man is saying "Jesus and Him crucified" Paul said that in his argument that the people were doing something wrong by picking sides with Peter or Apallos,

Paul says he spoke to Jesus mouth to mouth, no doubt when he visited the third heaven. Pauls mission was to witness to those outside of the Holy land (as we call it now).

Your statement shows you have not studied and are not approved.

Paul may not have been in His company before the resurrection, but Paul would have learned of Jesus during his 12 years prior to starting his ministry after the Damascus Road experience. Examine the following words of Paul

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" Romans 3:23

"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23

"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Romans 10:9-10

Paul did talk about Jesus....here is just a small example of what he wrote in the Book of Romans

The Epistle of Paul the Apostle to the Romans

1:1Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God, 1:2which he promised afore through his prophets in the holy scriptures, 1:3concerning his Son, who was born of the seed of David according to the flesh, 1:4who was declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead; even Jesus Christ our Lord, 1:5through whom we received grace and apostleship, unto obedience of faith among all the nations, for his name's sake; 1:6among whom are ye also called to be Jesus Christ's: 1:7To all that are in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 1:8First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is proclaimed throughout the whole world. 1:9For God is my witness, whom I serve in my spirit in the gospel of his Son, how unceasingly I make mention of you, always in my prayers 1:10making request, if by any means now at length I may be prospered by the will of God to come unto you. 1

To write about the life of Jesus Christ and His miracles, there were other Gospel writers.

Expect John none of Jesus Christ's disciple wrote any thing about Jesus Christ's Life and Miracles.

Jesus Christ appointed his Apostles not to tell stories but to preach the world what they hear the Holy Spirit says.

Jesus Christ did not tell his apostles how to lead His Church. He said every thing else will be told by the Spirit of Truth which He send up on them.

John 16:
4 But these things have I told you, that when the time shall come, ye may remember that I told you of them. And these things I said not unto you at the beginning, because I was with you.

5 But now I go my way to him that sent me; and none of you asketh me, Whither goest thou?

6 But because I have said these things unto you, sorrow hath filled your heart.

7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgement:

9 Of sin, because they believe not on me;

10 Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;

11 Of judgement, because the prince of this world is judged.

12 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.

13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

15 All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

Paul was called out By Jesus Christ to preach the world about the Crucified, died, Resurrected & ever Living Jesus Christ the Word of God.

Doctrine of Paul is not another Gospel of Paul as some Idiots says.

What Paul taught the Church was the things Holy Spirit commanded him to teach.

His duty was not to teach the church the history of Jesus Christ but the way the Church should move foreward.

Probably because he wasn't party to the fantasies. Paul probably had some other inspiration, such as angels rather than Jesus.
