This is why Jesus, when challenged or questioned did one of two things.

He either remained silent (Because he knew it was pointless to share with such hard hearts)

Or

He simply said, "It is written..." and then quoted relevant Scripture, leaving the people or persons to ponder the Word for themselves.

This way there was no confusion. Any issue someone had after that, they could just take it up with God, the Author himself. :)

As if you even go by ALL versions or the ORIGINAL and know everything that is in all those variations...

People try to use the bible to prove it wrong...and pray tell how is this any different then people trying to use the book to prove it's right? You can't define a word with it in the definition no more then you can prove the book is right by saying the book says it is.

Your question would get better answers if you included some examples.
In any case, I don't really understand why people bother trying to point out inaccuracies and contradictions in the bible. If someone is willing to believe the world is 6000 years old based on the bible then there's no point in that sort of argument.

The christian bible was translated from fragments of three or more different languages. and so sects prefer one translation over another. And they leave out some verses or books that might disprove them and their ideas
Also there are more than one Sect that calls its self Christian.
But yes there is a lot of blending of verses from different books of the Bible to try and make it sound like they are right and everyone Else is wrong.

If someone cites a purported biblical quotation which you know to be misquoted, you are certainly at liberty to say so. On the other hand, if someone points out an error of fact or internal inconsistency, you should listen and think about it; the bible has lots of both.

I read from my Bible every day and go to 2 bible studies weekly. I doubt I will ever have it memorized, if that happens, it will truly be a miracle! But on my desk next to my computer is my Bible. So if you want to discuss something, let me know.

alot of people dont accualy know what the bible sez, also alot of people do not understand what the bible is saying and just interpet it to fit thier way of thinking so theyre in the right instead of trying to listen and finding out what God is saying

"they try to use tyhe bible to prove it wrong "

Makes more sense than trying to use the Bible to prove it right.

Why isn't it there? Just because we said it?

I have never quoted the Bible on something that wasn't in it.

They didnt twist it or change it..Most things in the christian bible are vague and can be intrepreted in many ways...Thats why you all are so divided..
