Any Christian scholar of Christian history will readily confirm that after the famous council of Nicea (325 AD), the church of St. Paul (The Roman Catholic Church) selected out of the over three hundred Gospels in their possession the four that most closely conformed to their doctrines. All others, including the Gospel of Barnabas, were ordered completely destroyed. They also ruled that all Gospels written in Hebrew were to be destroyed. An edict was issued that anyone found in possession of an unauthorized Gospel would be put to death. Countless numbers of Christians were then systematically killed as heretics and burned at the stake if they maintained their belief in the divine Unity of God and did not conform to the innovative teachings of Paul. It is well known that this practice continued until at least the year 1616 AD. Read Chapter 39.

I have a serious problem......I ended up having a relationship with my best friend while she was with this girl. They have since broken up and I have become very good friends with her ex-girlfriend. I feel bad for betraying the ex-girlfriend like I did because we were supposed to be good friends, but I know that she will never forgive me if I tell her what happened. I am seriously starting to have feelings for her, but I am so confused. I am afraid that I might be using her to get back at my best friend. Help, please.

(I already know that I am a jerk so there is no need to tell me about it.)

I've had no luck finding this in Liddell and Scott, so I'm asking here. Is there such a verb? Is it related to γάλα, "milk?"

The closest I can come up with is εγγαλος, but that's adjectival.

I don't really need the gerund, necessarily; if someone can supply me with the verb, I can come up with the necessary form myself.

Here are the various proves that Quran is the Word of God http://www.miraclesofthequran.com. A book that was revealed 1400 years ago when science was almost non-existent and yet has so many scientific miracles. No man could write such a book! Especially illiterate prophet such as Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). It is a book from God, The Creator of the Universe.

The most genius scientist could only come up with few scientific inventions. Quran has thousands of them, even the ones we do not know yet.

I am sure this post will get more replies from Islam haters than the real atheists. Be it!

We are in Windsor, Ontario (Canada) right now visiting our family, because it's Thanksgiving in Canada this weekend. I dunno why the U.S. and Canada dates for Thanksgiving are different but, yeah. Anyways, I was wondering if it's considered wrong to celebrate Thanksgiving twice? Because we still plan on having Thanksgiving in Ohio were we live, in November.

Cos bellybuttons are a side effect of birth, and adam and eve weren't born, they were created. You only get bellybuttons if you are born. why would god give them one, they have no purpose after birth?

Another interesting tidbit. If one folded a piece of toilet paper 40 times it would reach to our sun. If one folded a piece of toilet paper 100 times it would span across the known universe.

Scripture has nothing on Jesus when he was growing up. Maybe it was because Mary was an over-protective psycho, sprouting nonsense about immaculate conception, who kept Jesus sheltered away from society until his brain warped from isolation.

Let's just assume for a second that heaven exists. Do they let pets in? If they do, what about all th eanimals we have killed and eaten. Would you ever find yourself introduced to your Sunday lunch, or the last BBQ you attended on earth, or all the flys you squashed?

How would you handle that?
