Here are the various proves that Quran is the Word of God http://www.miraclesofthequran.com. A book that was revealed 1400 years ago when science was almost non-existent and yet has so many scientific miracles. No man could write such a book! Especially illiterate prophet such as Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). It is a book from God, The Creator of the Universe.

The most genius scientist could only come up with few scientific inventions. Quran has thousands of them, even the ones we do not know yet.

I am sure this post will get more replies from Islam haters than the real atheists. Be it!

I am atheist. And what you are doing is using a book that your religion is based on to prove that religion exists. That is not the way it works. You cant use the quran to prove anything. Who says that some ancient storyteller didnt just sit down one day and start writing a story? This story was titled The Quran. Someone picks it up and reads it and believes it is true then tells more people, they read it and believe it is true. Even though it was just a story from someones imagination?
You cant prove anything is true just because it is written in a book and then use that book as proof. Evidence, real proof, is what is needed. Proof that would go beyond reasonable doubt. There is none. If there is, share it, but dont use the book we dont believe in to prove what it says is true.

The misunderstanding of the science is only outweighed by the adherence to outmoded superstition. A very simple example: the earth did not exist when the Big Bang happened. In fact, it didn't exist for another 8 billion years. Seems to contradict Another: the 'Big Crunch' scenario has been discounted. The expansion of the universe is accelerating, not slowing down.

Oh your wise book also states (18:86, 90) the sun rises and sets at particular places on a flat earth; and that the westernmost point on earth, the sun sets in a muddy spring.

Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, that's funny! What are your scientific miracles... the talking ants? Thousands my ***!

Do you also believe that the earth is fixed and does not move (27:61)?

The miracles of the Quran are false, there is no truth in Islam.

You are right in that Sciens is not mankinds answer to finding the truth. Don't misunderstand me, I think science is very benificil in understanding many things, but when science takes on these unproveable "ideas", like the theory of evolution, and they try to say this theory is the way it happened, Then we are being mislead by another "idea" or "theory" that IS NOT TRUTH!

The books of the Jews and Christians also have proven to be true. For example, The bible says that the world is a sphere, or globe. This was mocked and made fun of by many of the population and the highest levels of science in the time that we discovered that the bible was indeed true and the earth is a globe.

Let's take just one example, picked pretty much at random, shall we?

"It is He Who created night and day and the sun and moon, each one swimming in a sphere. (Qur'an, 21:33) "
Well, it's obvious to everyone that the sun and moon follow fixed paths. People knew that thousands of years ago, in Egypt and Babylon, Europe and South America. No miracle there.

OK, the next bit says
"And the sun runs to its resting place."

Well, of course, it doesn't rest, does it? It is in an orbit. So no great science prize for that one. Bottom of the class, in fact.

Sorry, you'll have to try much harder than that.

Motohype, have to add this. Aristotle, knew the Earth was a sphere. Flat earthers have always been a lunatic fringe.

Athiest here. Any kind of book written long ago, the Bible, Quran, or any other..never speak of modern technology. None of them say "the blue car went 55 mph", or "the telescope took an excellent picture of mars". It's all interpretation. So, still no proof, sorry.

This website is full of presuppositions and circular reasoning. Besides, most of the points mentioned were also postulated by the Bible...nearly 1000 years earlier.

I don't hate Islam. I simply disagree with it...
