I'm not sure what you mean by a code. I do try to follow the Golden Rule though each and every day of my life. I don't just talk it I walk it.

I do have a code that I follow actually: No ugly chicks and I will NOT date down. Each new prospect has to be better than the one before.

Honor among theives. That's been my personal code many a year now. I can't help but feel like if a friend does not believe in it, then they are someone who cannot be trusted and not really a friend at all.

Roughly translated, that code means that I don't spend too much time around people who hurt me, make me feel bad about myself, or people who think more of helping themselves than helping others. I keep the bar high and the riff-raff tends to scatter as a result.
