I have a serious problem......I ended up having a relationship with my best friend while she was with this girl. They have since broken up and I have become very good friends with her ex-girlfriend. I feel bad for betraying the ex-girlfriend like I did because we were supposed to be good friends, but I know that she will never forgive me if I tell her what happened. I am seriously starting to have feelings for her, but I am so confused. I am afraid that I might be using her to get back at my best friend. Help, please.
(I already know that I am a jerk so there is no need to tell me about it.)

Well, honesty is an important part of a friendship or serious relationship. Keeping something from her can hurt your friendship, but telling her the truth can cost you the friendship too. I'd say if you have feelings for her, be honest with her. If she gets over it there might be a chance for a relationship. If you don't tell her and continue being friends, or become more than friends, it can be a time bomb waiting to go off at any moment and ruin your relationship.

You are right about your blowing it. My best advice is learn from your mistake and do not do it again. Just walk away while you can. "Once a cheater always a cheater" is an old saying that comes to mind. I know I would feel that way if it was me.

Personally I feel that you should tell her the truth because if you don't tell her now and she finds out, it will be harder and she will be more upset to have to have found out the other instead of hearinf it from you!
