I've had no luck finding this in Liddell and Scott, so I'm asking here. Is there such a verb? Is it related to γάλα, "milk?"

The closest I can come up with is εγγαλος, but that's adjectival.

I don't really need the gerund, necessarily; if someone can supply me with the verb, I can come up with the necessary form myself.

I'm looking for something that means "producing milk." θηλάζω is perfect for "nursing," which would do in a pinch, but it isn't what I'm after.

The verb is "ΘΗΛΑΖΩ" -"Θηλάζω". This verb is used definitely form Hellenistic till modern Greek , but there is always a change for some difference in Classic Greek.
