Why is it that black people call eachother the N word all the time but if any other race (especially us white people) say that word we have to watch our backs?! I've grown up with all these rap songs, N this and N that and N what?! And it is just another word to me, when I say it it's usually not in a derogitory way and my best friend growing up was half black, but still get so offended, and you hear it said amungst themselves, but god forbid we say it! What's the deal? Is it really that offensive, especially with all the rapers now a days use it in almost every song that's on the radio?

Example: If an Indian boy (age 28) was in love with someone from another culture, but his parents demanded that he "get rid of" the love of his life, someone he said he was deeply in love with and marry someone they chose, what would you think of the parents? What would you think of the son if he complied because of pressure from his parents, and fear of what his parents might think of his decision?

Today I will not hurry,
I will take my time instead.
I will walk among the flowers
I will pause and bow my head.
I will savor all the moments
That are still mine to enjoy.
I will laugh and love and ponder
And contemplation employ.
Every moment is an eternity
Residing forever in my heart.
If I rush through it in haste
I will sacrifice what it could impart.
So I will take today as I find it.
Resting secure in what I know.
That there will be a few more lessons
That I am to learn before I go.

I want to know where all the real genuinely caring people have gone??? Have they all dropped off the face of the earth???I realy think we need to go back to the days of yeserday when we where allowed to punish our kids and make people responncible for their actions...I mean criminals get away with too much now a days and the laws allow it ...WHAT THE FRIG is wrong with this....Give me some kind of logical answer please.

It is just general info that applies to everyone and is likely to fit some situation that you are dealing with. You wouldn't read either unless you are looking for advice or direction and it fills that need. You read it and your like "hey, that applies to me and my life! How could they have known that without going through a higher power?"

I live in a huge apartment complex where kids go around trick-or-treating, so I want to decorate my balcony and front door with spider webs, orange and black lights, and other Halloween-y things.

My sister said October 1st is okay to start decorating, but I think that's still early. What do you think?

In genesis, which was written by Moses.. why is it almost identical to earlier texts such as the hermes trismestigus? Then in the book Acts of the Bible, it states that "moses borrowed the wisdom of the egyptians". Also in genesis when sodom was destroyed because of gay people.. where does it say that they are gay? Because i have read and read.. then looked in ezekial where it brought up Lot and sodom again and it just states that they were detroyed for being not hospitable. Also, lot states to the crowd at the door to take his daughters cause they have not known man, however later he goes to get his son-in-laws that are married to his daughters.. why? obviously they had known man right? Or was the conversation even about sex? Was lot or his daughters later punished for having children together? When Lot went to stay in the mountain after the destruction, his 2 daughters got him drunk, had sex with him then had ben-ammi and mohab. What happened after? read my other??'s please!

For example, if somebody is sick and you pray for them to get better. Does God change his mind about making the person sick? Does He all of a sudden say to Himself "Gee, maybe Jim is right and I shouldn't have given that 80 year old woman cancer..." Or does God just enjoy making people sick so that people will ask Him to make them better? I'm just curious. After all, presumably God knows whats best for ourselves and the world, so does it do us any good to pray for things like health and worldly desires? Won't God just do what He wants to regardless of whether or not we pray?

Is the profession you're in supportive of you and your sexual preferences, or do you keep in the closet during bussiness hours? I ask this because I myself do remain in the closet while at work and school. I am a substitute teacher and am going for my associates in special education. I am a closet case for obvious reasons... parents and other teachers think we in the GLBT community are perverts or child predators. What is your reason if you also hide your preferences from 9 to 5.
