I can't stand cursing. A particular pet peeve though is lying. After reading some of the above posts, I must admit--the bad driver thing--yeah, that's me. I am so impatient, especially with bad drivers. I pray for patience all the time. I recall the great Saint Phillip Nery who always had the same problem. He one time sat in front of the Blessed Sacrament all day praying for patience because he used to be so mean to the Sacristans if they didn't do everything just right. Well, after an all day vigil asking for patience he got up and went into the Sacristy and immediately began to berate a person for a mistake but, catching what he was doing he was appalled and flew right back into Adoration and asked Jesus why---why after spending all day with him praying for patience did he not grant it because he said those mean things to the person, and Jesus answered him by saying "You have prayed for patience and so I have multiplied the opportunities for you to be patient. I just love that one.

I think my biggest pet peeve is judgmentalism. It drives me crazy when I hear a negative opinion about a person or subject simply because the one making the judgment can't possibly know what it's like living inside the "other's" skin.

None of us know what is really going on inside the other's interior world. Until that is made manifest and is clear for everyone to see, judgment is worthless.

I honestly don't let things I read on the internet bother me. Jack D. is a blank face, hidden behind a computer. How can anything he says possibly hurt me?

If he wants to come off as a bigot, fine. I, however, will take Southpaw's lead and kill him with kindness. It can't hurt, it may help, and to do any less just drops me to his level.

I think more of myself than that, and I won't allow that to happen.

Kindness begets kindness.

I can't tolerate it when I see guys checking girls out. Like when a girl passes by and a guy or group of guys turns and looks at her. Then the guy turns to his buddy and says, "I'd hit that". I freaking hate that. Or when a group of guys are talking about a specific girl or girls and they use fowl language when describing her. I'm gonna start bashing skulls if I see that happen again. =P

Yes! I hate stupidity! Especially in women. I see women acting stupid, and it just makes my skin crawl.. Where are the strong and independent women who can balance it all and do not need a man to validate them? I am single at the present with the hope of getting married, but I do not need a man to validate me, I can handle that part of my life myself! Stand up for yourselves and stop letting men use you.

The one thing I can't tolerate is cruelty to animals. They are innocent creatures who look to us for their every need. I'd hate to see what I'd do to someone I saw hurting or being abusive to an animal.

If I'm in the right frame of mind I can tolerate almost anything. If I'm not, everything seems intolerable.

I have always believed that the greatest 'sin' is complacency. Anyone who gets into a comfort zone desperately needs to be shaken from that comfort zone for his/her own good -- comfort zones prevent growth.
