I will be 70 next month. I still work in an office, and I don't want to be guilty of "old man" traits. What, apart from repeating the punch line of a joke, can you warn me to look out for?

I am sick of everyone making generalized statements about Muslims being the terrorist nation. You guys keep saying that the good Muslims are not doing anything...have you ever seen anything other than CNN or FOX News or CNBC that shows nothing but terror attacks??

The "good" Muslims are doing something.....Where I'm at, we're organizing lectures in colleges/universities, various churches, schools to inform pple what Islam really preaches. We have articles printing in various newspapers/magazines...looks like you only watch one side of the news. Check out the links below.

Do you guys still think Islam preeches terrorism.

I was wondering what people think happens when a perosn dies. I'm especially interested in what atheists believe. I'm not a religious zealot or an atheists for anyone who might want to attack me. Its just a question.

Christians say "they can't see the truth when it is right in front of them".

Atheists and other non-believers say "they can't see the truth when it is right in front of them"

So ironic to me. Are we all blind to anything other than what we think we know? Or is it that our truths are just that "OUR" truths and no one elses?

Btw - I'm an ex-born again atheist.

LUKE 12:10, "And everyone that says a word against the Son of Man, that will be forgiven; But he that blasphemes against The Holy Spirit will not be forgiven.
MARK 3:29, "Whoever blasphemes against The Holy Spirit will never have forgiveness, but is guilty of everlasting sin."
MATTHEW 12: 31-32 "Therefore I say to you, any sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven men, but blasphemy against the Spirit shall not be forgiven. And whoever shall speak a word against the Son of Man, it shall be forgiven him; but whoever shall speak against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, either in this age, or in the age to come".

Do you think that stigma of sexual abuse comes from how horrific the act itself was, or how we as society treat the abused?

Suppose Jesus never existed. I could not then believe He is my Lord and Saviour, right? It seems that I would not end up burning for eternity automatically just for dying, so it seems I would not end up in Hell fire and brimstone for eternity.

Therefore, it seems that if it had not been for Jesus Christ, no one would end up burning in Hell fire and brimstone for the rest of eternity.

So, perhaps we should thank Jesus for Hell.

would it really be a mess, as someone said to my last question? or would it revive us? just give it some thought before condemning me, please. You won't change my mind anyway.

If you're afraid of the gifts of the Spirit, then you are afraid of the gift of discernment, right? In which case you're more likely to be decieved than someone who is open-minded about these things.

Yeah, the enemy tries to deceive us, but do you really think God allows those who really love Him and seek His Word, and pray a lot, and obey Him, to be decieved. No, His Word tells us that He will protect us, and it also tells us we can resist the enemy.

By the way, it's disgusting that some "Christians" are always trying to tell me I'm not saved when I ask questions like this.... sorry, we're talking ONE SPECIFIC topic. If you tell me you're a Christian, I assume you're saved. It's not my place to judge you, and I hope you can extend me the same courtesy. Keep in mind, we don't know each other.
