Why dont some whites understand?

Question

blacks did not asked to be enslaved or brutalized, hate was directed to blacks so if blacks dislike whites its justified. Whats some whites reason for hating blacks, thats justifiable?

Thanks for you comments, that was great. And really I don't hate any one. I know that what was done to my ancestors was done out of fear and greed. I am proud to be decendants of slaves. It lets me know our survival had to have the hands of God in it. Trust me Im successful in the business that I'm in. I've dealt with some beautiful white people but again I've dealt with some real ignorant ones blacks and whites. So we must get past the hate. I have and sill working on understanding why we think one is better than the other.

That's just it- there are no justifiable reasons for prejudice.

I do not believe that black people are justified in hatred for white people because of the slavery and brutality their ancestors endured... I, as a white person in modern times, did not enslave you... nor would I ever think of doing so. Also, there is not a single person alive today who was alive in the time of slavery... YOU were not a slave... you have been given all the same chances and opportunities as anyone, including those you hate who had NOTHING to do with your ancestors' enslavement.

Well, you are an idiot. No one has any justification to hate any one else. No matter what someone did or didn't do a long time ago. Do you understand that blacks were the original slave owners? That most white people here had nothing to do with slavery? Try to find happiness in life, don't hate for no reason at all. Do your best in life and be tolerant. I don't dislike whites for what happened 400 years ago BUT I do dislike SOME for being such ignorant racists. Whites don't PHYSICALLY enslave minorities but they enslave them in other ways. Too many to name here. Whites think they are better than everyone else in the world. They are the most hated race. No one likes white people. Blacks think you're ignorant and arrogant, Hispanics think the same thing and Asians think you guys have the IQ's of dogs. The most hated and least respected race. Throughout history of whites, they have shown themselves to be barbaric and thieves that STEAL everything they aquired. When other civilizations were thriving in other parts of the world, whites were spreading diseases, being cannibals, and living in the caves of Europe. But that's okay because I've stated in other posts, white carry a recessive gene and you guys race mix like crazy and your race won't exist in about 100 years. Enjoy your power while you can pale faces!

well unfortunatly there is hate everywhere towards every race whether its justified or not (mostly not). i wouldnt say blacks have a reason for hating whites because it is not something that the present whites are doing to the blacks. it is something that happened years ago that have nothing to do with todays generation. we cant control what out grandparents or great grandparents and ancestors have done. hate is a horrible thing and its very hard to get rid of. its getting better but theres still a long way ahead! i think most hatred develops from stereotypes. hope this helps! There is no justification for hating any race. Not all white people enslaved and brutalized blacks, A white man freed the slaves but slavery was not condoned by all white people, that is a stereotype and not fair to white people. It would be unfair to label all blacks as gangsters or drug dealers. Every person is unique and should be judged for who they are, not the color of their skin.

The main problem is that Blacks and Whites have been an Issue for many, many years. There are many White Family's even in this day and age which are taught to be racist. In the same breath though there are Black Family's taught to be racist as well. When is the Hatered going to stop? We need to come together and be a family, Whites, Blacks and all other races out there. We have two things in life that are our purposes.
1 - To Love God
2- to love People

Jesus Dies on the Cross for everyone. Not just Whites, Not Just Blacks. and not just any race.

Jesus himself was of middle eastern descent. So what does that say about him?

Ok. I see your point. But, why can't blacks understand that it was our ancestors, not us who did this to your ancestors(not to you), And now you live here in a country where you are free to be you, free to choose and free do many things you would not be able to do had your ancestors not been brought here. It is not justifiable for any human being to hate another human being just because of the color of their skin. As far as not liking someone imparticular, and they just so happen to be a different color than you, that should be individualized, not against the race as a whole. Attitudes like yours could be named by some as a justifiable cause for whites to hate blacks, but not everyone is so shallow that they spend their free time contemplating ideas such as yours. Slavery has not been a practice since 1865. That was before my time, and slavery dated back to biblical times, so it was an accepted practice. So since I'm not black, I can not understand the continued reference to slavery. Continued bringing it up is not a good way of making white friend and influencing white people. NO I don't understand how it is to be black, I;m not black! So maybe we should start with what we have in common, human problems, and build a rapport.

How can you justify hating whites for something they had nothing to do with? Name one white person now living that was involved in the slave trade. You don't realize that the blacks do more to keep this fire burning than any white does. But then again it is to your benefit to keep the BS alive. As long as you can blame your short comings on someone else you will continue to be coddled through life. Don't blame whites for something you keep perpetuating.
