Every morning is a new day for me, an opportunity to correct my behavior and ask forgiveness to those I might've insulted the day prior, so morning to me is a happy event.

I am one of those horrible people who is at their happiest first thing in the morning when the air is fresh and clean and the day is new.

My daughter on the other hand is the complete opposite. I used to stand just inside her door and sing the Good Morning song to her in an off key voice to try and make her wake up with a smile.

She of course wanted to kill me.

Even her husband has learned that you don't speak to her in the morning if you are within swatting distance!

I just dont talk to anyone till about 10 before that I'm kind of a caveman as I respond in either grunts or if your lucky 1 word answers. To be fair though I do have to get up at 6.45 and my voice is normally so gruff that you'd barely be able to understand me anyway.

I am if I have had very little sleep and get woken up, a right narky old cow I am, thankfully that doesn't happen too often, I feel so sorry for my husband when I am a moody cow in a morning through lack of sleep, I do apologise to him and he always forgives me.

I don't need a newspaper, my husband, daughter, & even the dog know very well that I need my morning space. Nothing comes between me & my Folgers. :) It's easier to understand my speech then.
