I want to know where all the real genuinely caring people have gone??? Have they all dropped off the face of the earth???I realy think we need to go back to the days of yeserday when we where allowed to punish our kids and make people responncible for their actions...I mean criminals get away with too much now a days and the laws allow it ...WHAT THE FRIG is wrong with this....Give me some kind of logical answer please.

The really genuine people are still in the mid-western states. I live in the OC and they certainly are far and few in between out here. The ones who are typically came from the Mid-West orginally like me!

I guess it's like anything else. Too much tolerance and not enough outrage. Criminals are often given more consideration than their victims. And parents are afraid to discipline their kids because all discipline is looked at by some people as child abuse. A lot of caring people want their kids to have more than they had and therefore, spoil them and don't make them accountable for anything. I have heard of cases where parents go without in order to pay for their children's' rent so they can have a nice vacation. I think there should be more parenting classes to straighten out this mess. I always told my kids that when they are 18 or when they have finished college, they are on their own financially. If they want a car, for instance, they need to save for it, the insurance, gas, and upkeep. They appreciate it later in life when they become responsible adults.

When you look at people all you see these days are somber faces. To find the real people start looking inside yourself. Be truthful, and smile at everyone, soon everyone around you will start smiling too. How about greeting someone like this? Goodday how is your attitude feeling today? what answers would you get? Something like Full of gratitude, thankyou have you claimed your multitude yet today?

What has punishing kids got to do with being genuine?
Being genuine means not being phony, not putting on an act, showing how you really feel.
About "punishing" kids. If you mean corporal punishment, that is cruel, cowardly and bullying, and doesn't teach them anything except that violence is a solution to frustration, anger, and conflict.
