Am I paranoid or does it just seem that people will do anything to another person to make themselves feel elevated or to get ahead? Are the most of the people you know phony and self-important? I'm tired of living this way.

Do you think Jesus can help with anxiety and depression? I have social anxiety where I get panic attacks all the time,and I have depression. My life was miserable for last 3 years,you dont call that living you call that existing.My life is going no where,meaningless. I have agrophobia where I avoid all social situations possible. I dont remember the last time I felt happy and that I am worth something. I know that God and Jesus exist through everything Ive seen,everything I felt could'be only been God's work. Now I was raised in christian family but at age of 16 stopped comletely going to church and doing anything related to faith. I started drinking ,partying,doing somethings that I am not so proud off. And at age 18 I started having anxiety and depression. I stayed home most of the last 3 years,comletely stopped socializing. Now I can't even talk on the phone or go to grocery stores anymore. Can God help me with this if I will repent and let him in my heart?

religion is one of the most heated debates of our time in my opinion. The debate on wether or not god exists and even debates on different beliefs depending on the church. What are your opinions on religion in general,or about god or gods? do you think that science proves or disproves the possiblity of a universal creator? it's not possible, and even if it is possible to know anything about god, you aren't going to discover anything by reading about it from a book, or attending a religious ceremony. maybe prophets were the real deal, maybe not, but just reading a book based on what they felt or doing what they say isn't going to let you experience that unimaginable force that's out there.

i don't think it's humanly possible to know anything about god, or allah, or yahweh, or anything like that. and i think that if anyone has said that they have experienced or seen or felt god, they need to wipe their mouth with some toilet paper.

I am a university student and one of my professor's to put it lightly is a brash individual who loves to ridicule people in the class over there lack of knowledge over certain issues we are studying. Today, in class however when focusing on me he constantly made fun of a personal attribute of mine before the entire class. Not only was this humiliating but the fact that it was done before my friends in a place where I am paying money to learn not be ridiculed was especially maddening. My question is am I over reacting? Should I tolerate this behavior from a university professor? What would you do?

Spent an afternoon at the beach with my female friend and her best friend, also female (my girlfriend couldnt make it with us). After a hour I went to the bathroom. About 30mins later after playing frisbie and hanging out, I noticed the velcro holding my fly shut on my boardshorts was clogged with sand and never closed after my bathroom visit. It was totally open! My johnson was completely visable and partly hanging out. No one said anything but it was so obvious.

Did my female friends just not want to say something? If you saw that would you say something? Would a man's member accidently hanging out his shorts offend you?

English is my foreign language and I thought I had learned it well, but lately I'm not so sure anymore.

More and more I hear:

- between you and I
instead of "between you and me"

- thanks for the present you gave my wife and I
instead of "gave my wife and me"


It almost looks that someone went out with he and she instead of him and her!

Help please! I hear it on TV, my boss is starting to use it, and everybody seems to think they are speaking proper english. Am I nuts?
