I was wasted when I smoked, but I swear that I felt high, not drunk, high. I mean, it's only tobacco so is that possible? Or was it just my mind playin tricks on me.

P.S. I've never done any illegal drugs, i.e. pot, so I really don't know what a high is, but I swear that's what I'd imagine it feels like.

i asked everyone what to do if you have a stepdad who hits you and basically all of you said to call the cops. i threatend him with calling the cops and i seriously look like i got hit with a truck right now. i know your all gona tell me to call the police right now but what if im not exactly ready to. and i would never admit it to people i no but im really scared because this guy isnt joking around. is running away an option? answer or mail me

I know they are waiting for the second coming in which he is expected to rise from the East side of Israel. However I dont understand why they did not believe he is the son of God.

There's a saying "If you don't believe in god and are wrong, there's a heavy penalty. If you do believe in god and are wrong you lose nothing. So, believe in god."

All of that is true, but here's my question: How can I believe in something that I truly sincerely don't? Sure I could express my acceptance verbally and physically, but deep down inside, I would only be lieing to myself, which would still make me a nonbeliever.

Please try to stick to the question and not go rambling off about how I can find holy jesus in the great garden etc etc.

ok my youth director says that telling a person of a different religion that they are going to hell is not judging, but I think it is and we spent 2 hours arguing about it. So what is it to you? (is it preaching or judging?)

For example, where I live there is:

Mr Nipples - an overweight man who goes walking every night without a shirt on, even in the middle of winter when it is is freezing

The Burners - a family who always has a fire lit, even on the hottest summer day

Draco - the teenage boy next door who looks exactly like Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter movies

Garage Boy - a young guy on the other side who spends all day every day in his aunt's garage, listening to rap and death metal

The Jailbait Jogger - a pretty 13 year old girl with DD breasts who goes jogging every afternoon in an unsupportive bra, and every guy on the block from 8 to 80 suddenly needs to do something on their front lawn

As soon a group of people get political power, everything goes sideways! It doesn't seem to matter if it is a position of power in the church or government. That's what all the blood and gore was about in the Old Testament. Politics, not religion! We are now seeing many quasi-religious-political organizations trying to gain power in today's world! What do you think? Do political organizations with political goals have a right to claim they are a religion?

My fiancee is Catholic, and I am Lutheran. Both of our families take their religions very seriously, and we don't want either to become upset or feel as if their faith isn't as important. We both plan to keep our individual faiths, as we feel the commonalities between them are the most important parts of Christian religion(or in other words, the big picture), and just differ on the smaller details. I'm wondering what the rules are on mixed marriages in the Catholic church, and whether it is generally ok to have both a priest and a minister performing the ceremony.

Also, we're debating on an outside wedding as we want our puppy involved (he's like our child). So far, the way to be the most equal is to incorporate both denominations or neither . . . . if anyone has other ideas it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

A child molester in Pennsylvania shot and killed 5 little Amish girls in a school house. In his suicide note, he said he was mad at "God" for taking the life of his daughter nine years ago, which indicates that lashing out at "God" was a motivational factor. Had he not been indoctrinated with religious beliefs and let to live naturally as an Atheist, do you think he would have still killed those 5 little girls? Why or why not?

I saw that someone had scrawled something about a young girl on a bus today, and it alleged that she had had sex with over 70 guys. Why is she labeled a whore, but nothing is said about the guys? I understand about the double standard, but why is it still in existence?

Why do we, as women, allow this double standard to still be in practice? If a woman/girl sleeps around, and is called names, it should be the same for the men/boys. What do you think?
