A child molester in Pennsylvania shot and killed 5 little Amish girls in a school house. In his suicide note, he said he was mad at "God" for taking the life of his daughter nine years ago, which indicates that lashing out at "God" was a motivational factor. Had he not been indoctrinated with religious beliefs and let to live naturally as an Atheist, do you think he would have still killed those 5 little girls? Why or why not?

He was sick either way, but if he were atheist, he may have developed critical thinking skills that may have prevented him from doing such a thing.

Clearly he had no REAL relationship with Christ. Now would an Atheist take anger out against children? Clearly his losses would have been the same. His anger would have been directed somewhere and killing little girls was obviously misdirected whoever he was taking his anger out on obviously he harmed innocent children...he also claimed to have molested children at the age of twelve which was long before the death of his first child which is why he supposedly was angry at God. I don't think that we can actually know what goes on in the mind of a sick individual but it is obvious to me that he had no true relationship with God. I do believe that a true relationship with God would have prevented such a thing.

Nope. Atheist run societies have not killed different Atheists for non-concept in a distinctive way. inspite of the incontrovertible fact that, just to be honest, there have been situations of Atheist societies killing and imprisoning religious human beings. The Soviet union, and China have been conventional for rules against believers that ranged from imprisonment as much as, and which contain execution.

Living as an atheist is not natural, it is a choice. It has been proven that human beings inherently know that they have a creator. Read the book, Through Gates of Splendor by Elisabeth Elliot, a true story that explains it.

The killer knew there is a God, but he did not know God. Had he known God he would have known there was hope for him and he could have overcome his emotional problems. This is another sad case of someone who thought he could handle life on his own, without God, resulting in a tragic ending.

There is no way of "predicting" someones destiny....That was his life path and whatever he learned and saw throughout his life was what led him up to his actions....It really depended on what kind of hardships he went through in his life and even the good things he encountered....obviously he could not handle what happened to his daughter and went about the situation in a very negative way....he felt as if he had to get back at somebody for what he had to go through....i have noticed that a lot of people thrive on revenge....i mean, he killed himself after he hurt others...what real kind of satisfaction did he get out of it??....society is so good at dictating people to beleive what is "right" and what is "wrong" in a situation....maybe I am not making sense at the moment because i guess i'm not too good at expressing what i feel.....what i am really trying to get across right now is......if he really truly beleive in God he never would have wanted revenge because that is a form of fear and guilt...and that is not what God is about.......I don't have anything to do with religion and as a matter of fact i think religion is a lot of bull to try to rule over certain people.....i am a huge beleiver, however, in the spiritual world and that there is a higher power...i just don't get into that organized beleif....anyways, he must have just been following what he was raised with...whatever religion that may be that was told to beleive in God......i know what that is like......when you don't really care to understand about something, you just beleive what you are told....such as in catholicism you must beleive in Jesus or you are going to hell.....but I grew up Catholic and Jewish so that was a dilemma...anyways, i don't think this man really had much faith at all because he denied any kind of love and real reason in his life and that's why he decided getting revenge and killing 5 completly inncocent girls would make him feel better.....if everyone felt the way he did....having no faith.....it could just be an ongoing cycle where the parents of the 5 children could just give into their fear and anger and go off and kill more children for the sake of their own feelings.....it just is going to keep adding more hurt into this world and i'm pretty sure God isn't a big fan of seeing people hurt eachother......that's our own choice....i guess i'm done with my rant and hopefully i got across what i tried to

If he was not religious he probably would have blamed the world and walked into a mall or a high school and did the same thing. The guy was nuts and nothing short of a bullet was going to stop him. Religion is just a convenient scapegoat.

The man had problems stemming from far more than a religious bent. He molested little girls, then lost one of his own. Are you trying to blame his religion for his guilt? You REALLY hate religion, don't you? I'll bet your a young guy, too - atheism is the new college fad. Go fig.

Yes, he was a disturbed person behaving in an extremely irrational manner. He'd have come up with a way to rationalize his crime.

Evil does evil for evil's sake. Any excuse would do. He used God. So what? Everyone likes a scapegoat.

What does being an atheist or a christian have to do with it. He was sick. Contrary to what you may believe there is evil in this world.
