the old testament is still relevant, It give us a guide line to follow, and shows us the will of God.
The new testament is the up grade, not the Qumran.

If you think the Old Testament is not relevant, you have not read it very well.
The Old Testament tell us what people are like. It tells us about people who lied, cheated and stole. It also tells us of murder, rape and plunder. More than that, it shows that we are still capable of these things.

The New Testament is based on the life and work of Jesus
There was never a man like Him.

The quran, is the Muslim holy book. It contains many quotes from the Old Testament. It however does encourage people who believe in it to kill infidels (Those who do not believe Mohamed).

Jesus had a much higher goal, and a much longer lasting teaching. He did not have an army, or encourage fighting, but His teachings changed the world. If we who call ourselves Christians were to live by the teachings of Jesus, this would be a much different world.

No it does not translate quite that way. At least not for those who follow the Christian faith. For Muslims I am sure it probably does. The old testament is still relevant as it is a history of how the world came into existence and how man became so corrrupt that we needed Jesus to come and save us all and not just the Jews. The new testament is the telling of the life and works of Christ and how he came to die for us. It is also the word of Jesus being spread to the world after his death through the disciples. And the foretelling of the end of this world through St. Johns revelation.

The O.T. is NOT irrelevant. Fulfilled, yes, but never irrevelant. Without the Old, the New would make little sense. Jesus Himself met two of His disciples on the road to Emmaus and explained all the places in the scriptures that pertained to Him!

Try evangelizing with just the Old Testament, because that's what your Jewish friends will respond to.

The old testament is reliable to Judaism only. Christians still refer to it, but mostly for the Genesis chapter.

The Quran doesnt apply to Christianity as it wasnt made for the Christian base religion. It was only made for the Islamic community.

Unlike the Bible there is is only only copy of the Quran. there was never an old or new testament. Allah(God) sent it down to Mohmmed to relieved it to the Muslims. The Quran will never be able to change noone has changed or will change it.

With the Evangelical's theory, yes. And then, the FSM is the most recent, so that's what should be practiced, according to these silly rules.
