I can't imagine a more desolate definition for Love than what my last question produced.

What of the components of Love: compassion, empathy, sympathy, connection...just more neurons and neediness?

Don't you find yourself feeling alone and isolated with beliefs like that?

I like listening to rap and they keep saying this. Athough most of the time I find the police to be quite helpful. So why is this hatred?

We cannot even prove that God exists, how then can we act like we know what God wants?

Isn't it what we want that will reflect in our answers?

I was watching Oprah last night, it was about the sexual predators out there, and them being caught. What is it with all the sicko's in this world today? Grown men wanting to have sexual relations with children, and them thinking it's okay, and that children should have the right, because they actually want this? Do they just have no clue what right, and wrong is? And half these guys are married with children, and more often then not, teaching children in our schools!! WTF is their issue! And then to get caught on camera, butt naked, and then go and get caught the very next day by the same people, I think this world is becoming more sick every day! And even a firefighter, and police officer helping a youth group got caught! I just don't get it, what the hell is their problems?

I saw a pick-up truck plastered with bumper stickers: anti-abortion, yellow ribbon, Jesus fish, George Bush, America flag. On his rear window he had one that said, "Give War a Chance." I am not kidding.

I have always wondered about why do Christians think that Jesus had to die to "enable" God to forgive their sins. Now I read this Bible verse about this issue:

"In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness." (Hebrews 9:22)

In contrast the Quran says: "Those who spend (freely), whether in prosperity, or in adversity; who restrain anger, and pardon (all) men;- for Allah loves those who do good;- And those who, having done something to be ashamed of, or wronged their own souls, earnestly bring Allah to mind, and ask for forgiveness for their sins,- and who can forgive sins except Allah.- and are never obstinate in persisting knowingly in (the wrong) they have done. For such the reward is forgiveness from their Lord, and Gardens with rivers flowing underneath,- an eternal dwelling: How excellent a recompense for those who work (and strive)!"(3:134-136)

Which of the concepts is better?

A few hours ago I filled up my car at $2.07 a gallon. I thanked God profusely. When I bought my first car, in 1972, I could fill it up for $3.00. Those were the days.

Shouldn't they raise the money before building. Isn't it God's will to be debt free. If so why are Churches so hypocritical when it comes to money. In my opinion the church has become so materialistic just like the American culture
