why do they call non muslims infidels? Why does islam call for slaying of infidels? If these infidels were sent prophets by god that means they are on the right path set for them by god, then who is a muslim to decide how another person should lead his life! Those people may have been delivered a different message coz god has something different planned for them. Do muslims want to defy god's will?

How long do you think you have left to insult and mock God? Don't you know that he'll have the last laugh?
Eating, drinking, storing up riches for yourself? Thinking you have a lot of years left in you?
Beware those who reject God's plan of salvation. After you die then the judgement.

I wasn't aware until recently how many people in the United States have claimed to see Big Foot. Apparently there has been a lot of sightings in Ok. I never new that the indians openly believe in big foot and frequently see it, I think this is facinating.

I'm in a student group at my school, just started a month ago. And this guy in it invited everyone in the group to his house for a birthday thing tomorrow night. I've only seen him about 5 times in my life and don't know if this is a situation where I'd get him a gift or not. I don't know what everyone else is doing, so I'm asking here what you people think I should do...what would make me NOT look like a total loser. PS. I'm a guy, this isn't a romantic question or something. PPS. Thanks for your help.

It seems like 9 times out of ten, when someone is arguing against gay rights, they always end with bestiality.
For example, I just read in someone's answer to another question, "Gay marriage! What's next, people marrying goats?"
This makes no sense to me. I don't see any connection between the two and this constant referencing is confusing me. What's behind it?

I find it rather perplexing your core belief is that we essentially came from nothing, yet, please entertain me and tell me how, exactly how, do you get something from nothing? Doesn't this go against your most important core value, science. In fact, this defies science, does it not? Forgive me if I'm wrong, but doesn't science need a cause and effect? Can you name me anything in the universe that does not?

I wonder about your core belief, I wonder how you use science as a crutch and evolution as a crutch to somehow prove your deep construed thesis' that justifies there's no God, yet you don't realize the core essence of your belief is based on evolving from nothing. I don't mean to come off the wrong way, I just want an answer.

the suicide rate is higher than the homocide rate? I already have my reasons and I am curious to know what is yours.

BTW- The largest of that ratio are native americans. And the state with the largest rate is Alaska.

I'm a bi Athiest woman and I recently made a blog entry about possible uteral illness. I received this comment from a stranger:

People suck sometimes. Everybody does at one point or another. I don't know what drew me to your blog, or why I feel compelled to comment. We wouldn't appear to have too much in common, as I am a male, heterosexual, Christian - but none of that matters. My heart breaks to see the pain that you are in, and to see how sad that makes you. I am not here saying that I will pray for you or anything of that nature, I am just one human being who feels compassion for another. I hope that you find some answers, to your medical issues, and to any of the other things that are troubling you. I see that you have a lot of friends here, don't hesitate to call on them, and just realize that there are a lot of good caring people in this world, though they may not always seem to be right under our noses. I wish you the best and hope that things start to get better for you.

LOVE or PEACE? And they are not the same, but compliment each other's very well. For instance, people find peace(comfort) in love. They are not the same, but compliment each others very well. The goal of these two combined is to find happiness. I know we all want happiness, but some find it in LOVE, while others find it in PEACE.I myself covet peace more than love. Love hurts while peace soothes the soul.

Let me put forth an example. When people are in love, it is peace that keeps a relationship stable. You may love that other person, but it is the peace of the other person you find comfort in.(Though every relationship is different, I am just putting forth an example)

LOVE is powerfull, but peace is tranquil.

My 15 yearold called after school saying he would be late because he had to do some school project but he would pick me up something to eat on the way home. I told him it was cool as long as he got back before his mother came home from her fulltime job. About 2 and a half hours later I see him trying to get in through the back I asked him what was up and he was very evasive. But when I got a look at him in the light I could see that he was somewhat sweaty (like he had dried himself off) and his shirt around his pits was darker then the rest) He also had Vans on but they looked like sneakers. Before I can question him any further he goes in his backpack and pulls out a pack of krispy kreme all the while all his gym stuff falls out(water, headband, Ipod) It was then that I understood the full scope of his dishonesty first he lured me into giving permission by bribing me with food and he thought that I would not notice What is good and proper punishment for lying and disrespect?

The message of Christianity is that God will torture you by casting you into hell for all eternity if don’t bow your knee to him and confess Jesus as Lord and savior. That is coercion just like someone putting a gun to your head and giving you a choice of handing over your money or dying.

It occured to me when i saw them put coins on the eyes of the dead pope (symbolism that was used by Ancient Roman and Greeks when they worshipped "Pagen" gods) plus the way Catholics have statues of patron saints with individual spheres of interest, that they seem to worship/ pray to in a similar way Romans would pray to inividual gods. I am wondering if the religions kind of merged. Like sometimes happens in corperate mergers alot of the work practices of one company are implimented by but the stronger brand gets the company name.
