certainly not hospitality.
I went to calvary chapel in Costa Mesa, years ago,(Chuck Smith, Pastor, Greg Laurie visiting Pastor), and even though the meetings are attended by 1000's, not one person greeted me.
I would go early, and loiter after, so that I might meet those that I thought were Christians. Yet everytime I went, the only thing I experienced was multitudes of people rushing by me to get in. And rushing past me to get out. And don't get me started about the rudeness of them getting in and out of the parking lot.
My assesment? The people who attend this church are there for selfish reasons.

I have been attending the Calvary Chapel in Costa Mesa, CA for about ten years. This was the first Calvary Chapel. There are many people there who have been going since they met in a little tent! That was probably about thirty years ago. Calvary is unique; it teaches right from the bible, day in and day out. Every day of the week, there is a bible study going on. Sundays, we go through the entire bible, Genesis to Revelation. One we complete it, we start all over again. We are currently in the book of Luke. I think it takes about 8 years for us to get all the way through.
Since being in bible study at this church, my life has changed completely. I cannot express the gratitude I feel at being at one of the premier bible teaching churches of the day. Although all Calvary Chapels hold to the same biblical teaching, I don't think they go through the bible in order like we do. We believe in the inerrancy of scripture, we believe in baptism, we believe in the trinity, we believe in the rapture of the church, all to be found in scripture.

Non-Denominational Fundamentalist Christian Churches. Great focus on God's Word and it's inerrancy.
Generally, good Bible Teaching Churches. All are operated as independant churches, but all follow the teachings of Pastor Chuck Smith, Calvary Chapel of Costa Mesa, CA., their founder.
World-Wide outreach these days.
In recent years, Calvary Chapels have adopted the "Abiding Doctrine." You can't lose your salvation as long as you are abiding in Christ. Well, duh!

Hi.
THE OVER ALL THEME IS ONCE SAVES ALWAYS SAVED.
Rev 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
they disregard the bible and its complete truth.
the verse above says: ALL LIARS.
so.....ETERNAL SECURITY WITH NO REPENTANCE AFTER INITIAL SALVATION IS A LIE, A DAMNS THEM AND THE PEOPLE THE PREACH TOO!
VERY SERIOUS. Read the bible ,and pray for the right place to attend if thats what you are interested in doing at the moment.
