(This is related in a general sense to a question I just posted under etiquette, in case you want to hit that one, too!!!!)

I've got to laugh...

They whine and scream about "not forcing your religion down our throats" yet they troll Yahoo! answers looking for Christian-to-Christian questions and interject their rude and insulting opinions.

Then they prove that they can dish it out but can't take it because if you throw a jab or two their way in jest - they start the namecalling, personal insults and regurgitating scripture (out of context of course)

Kinda what makes this fun!

What aspects of the religion bothered you the most about your religion?

For me:

1-) Original Sin
2-) Talking about my sins to a priest
3-) Inconsistencies in the bible
4-) Baptism
5-) Limbo
6-) The fact that some people had to be celebat (Nuns & Priest)
7-) Praying to little statues and pictures of saints and Jesus (PBUH)
8-) The notion of heaven and hell
9... I really do not want to go on an on...

i have a friend who will call thirteen times but never leave a message. mean while, i might have come home looked at the machine, and left again before she called again. but she starts out each phone converstaion with "I called your house, your cell, i called and called....." guilt trip nonesense. PLEASE give me some tactful, non-overt ways to remind her (for the THOUSANTH TIME) to leave a message so that i can know she wants me to call back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (can u tell i'm frustrated?!?!?!)

P.S. Yes, I know that SHE is the rude one here, but since i can't end the relationship (she's somewhat a relative) i have to find a way so that i don't kill her but she doesn't annoy me to death either.............

what makes u happiest? i love pets, nature-but most of all the creator Jesus (Colossians says by Jesus doth all things consist) He says before abraham was I am-because He is part of the Oneness of the God head-Let us make man in our image-Genesis first chapters. till mankind fell and needed the gospel-from the blood atonement of the animal slain to cover our sins-with a animal skin-Moses said "Without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins" The life of the flesh is in the blood-ive given it to make atonement for your souls."

it cost God everything to come in our place and go through disgrace as promised to be despised and rejected and lay down his life an atonement for our sins Isaiah 52vs13-53vs12) I prayed and let him into my heart to help

we never did anything wrong to get shuned so badly. we are peace loving people and it hurts me to read so of the hateful and mean things some of you people say on here. its not nice and its called freedom of religion. and we are not demons and its not the same thing as following baal or anything like that. pls be a lil more kind to us.

in the bible one of the ten commandments is "do not kill".
it does not say "do not kill unless"... this or that.
it just says do not kill period.
so my question is ... knowing this how do you justifie your stance on the death penalty?
