I don't judge any wiccans on here (actually, I don't know who you are, so how can I judge) but my experience with wiccans and wicca has been horrible. I was a wiccan for five years and went back to the Catholic church. THe wiccans I met in that time were the largest group of self-centered, selfish little monsters you'd ever hate to meet. It was all, "me, me, me and I, I, I" from them.
"I want to sleep with this person, even though I'm engaged" "I want this, so I'll steal money from my girlfriend" "I don't like so and so, so I"ll go after his girlfriends" "I don't like this person, so I"ll curse them"
I know that they don't represent every wiccan, but I got tired of the selfishness and self-centeredness that I saw. Granted, the Catholic church may not be better, but I've ran into far less nuts since I've been confirmed.
I try to judge those on here by their actions and not by the actions of those I've known, and ask that you do the same.

They only know what they've been taught. And they feel safe that way. They have less decisions to make, because God has made all their decisions for them. They get to be like children forever and father up in heaven is watching and guiding them. To even admit that perhaps some other way may be right completely messes up their perfect little world. They get scared and they blame the devil. But their father is greater than the devil, so they're safe.
I just ignore what people say about my religion. They have every right to say it and to be as mean and nasty as they want. It doesn't hurt me a bit because I'm secure in my own beliefs.

Right On!Wiccas are witches sorta right? If so... I think the reason you are shunned so bad is because people associate magic with evil. They believe you want to be on the dark side. It is because Christians shun anything they do not understand as evil. My sister's a Wiccan, and I understand her and even studied up a little on the subject so I'd know a bit more about what she believes in.

I looked into that... stuff... a few years ago... when my ex got involved in it... it was a contributing factor in her abandoning her family... including her children... what I found was clearly a pre-school for satanism... I was not even close to being of The Christian Faith at the time... and even I could see from the further "clicking" of links that it all led to satan... I knew then of evil and the truth of it... and what I saw was a deception that was not "good" or "peacefull" when taken to the places further involvment could lead.... I know now that it has gotten a lot more PR smart and you do not find the direct links to the worse struff on most wicca sites now... but it is nothing but a deception of satan ...and that is my opinion from my own looking into it from before my coming to be of The True Christian Faith.... Now I would state my position against that evil much more strongly than I have here...
in truth most who are decieved by this cult crap do not ever learn the truuth of it... it is not necessary for satan to reveal himself...just to keep as many as he can from knowing The Truth.
Just give them the candy and keep them happy... and ignorant

They have their own idea what a Wiccan is... and, unfortunately, it is the image the Roman Catholic Church gave people about Pagans. These types of stereotypes are hard to break, especially with people who refuse to listen to anyone outside of their own little circle.
