Why can't I get a straight forward "scientific" awnser from all you evolutionists. Parrot - at least you tried in stating that the human eye is "flawed" because of the retina that is inside out. You make a good observation, yet your conclution is "typical". Did you know that if the retina of the eye was not "inside out" as with mammals, the UV light from the sun would cause tremendous damage. Yes, thats why fish and other water living creatures have the blood vessels on the outside, the water they live in already blocks the UV light.

As for the fossil records: Why has anyone never found any fossils of "transition" species, thats to say the missing link between fish and reptiles for example?

As for the experiment they conducted in a lab "creating life". You are refering to an experiment by Stanley Miller in 1953. In this experiment sparks were discharged into an apparatus which was circulating common gases. These gases reacted to form various organic products which were collected and analyzed. The experiment succeeded in producing only a few of the 20 amino acids required by itself. Furthermore, the dozens of major problems with this experiment as an explanation for the formation of life are seldom reported.

For instance, our early atmosphere was assumed to have no oxygen because this would stop amino acid formation. However, with no oxygen, there would be no ozone shield. With no ozone shield, life would also be impossible. Furthermore, oxidized rocks throughout the geologic record indicate that oxygen has always been present. In addition to this, the same gases which can react to form amino acids undergo known reactions in the presence of sunlight which remove them from the atmosphere. The required gases would not have been around long enough for life to have developed! In addition, a cold trap was used to keep the reaction products from being destroyed as fast as they formed.
"Often a cold shudder has run through me, and I have asked myself whether I may have not devoted myself to a phantasy" (*Charles Darwin, Life and Letters, 1887, Vol. 2, p. 229).
“As by this theory, innumerable transitional forms must have existed. Why do we not find them embedded in the crust of the earth? Why is not all nature in confusion instead of being, as we see them, well-defined species?”—*Charles Darwin, quoted in H. Enoch, Evolution or Creation (1866), p. 139.

In a UN convention they defined genocide as meaning any of the following acts commited with intent to destroy, in whole part, a national ethinic, racial or religious group, as such:
A) Killing membersof the group
B) causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group
C) Delibertly inflicting on the goupr conditions of lift calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or part.

So that could mean if a person or group of people causes these conditions to exist they could be tried at the World Court. I presume that if some one tried to destroy or defame a church or church member this same rule would apply. After all it would be mentally damaging to the members of that religious group.

“Some help others in order to receive blessings and admiration. This is simply meaningless. Some cultivate themselves in part to serve others, in part to serve their own pride. They will understand, at best, half of the truth. But those who improve themselves for the sake of the world -- to these, the whole truth of the universe will be revealed”
- Lao Tzu -

If you disagree please back it up with non-circular logic, thank you!

It is a fact that 82% of americans consider themselves a Christian. On the surface it appears that they are a unified group who follow the same belief system.

However, when you look at the numerous different sects, practices and interpretations, you can reach a much different conclusion about their unity.

Isn't it true that only small percentages of christians are actually unified in their belief system and most sects have conflicting ideas about what it takes to "get to heaven" and what god expects of us?

For Example, think about all of these different groups who interpret the bible differently and argue about what god's word means:

Apostolic,Baptist,Catholics, Churches of God,International Churches of Christ,Jehovah's Witnesses,Latter Day Saints,Messianic Judaism,Pentecostalism, Seventh-day Adventists, Unification Church
...and the list goes on and on.

If god's word is perfect, why can't all christians agree on it's interpretation?

In response to the large part of Jesus Camp, and my own little paranoias, I want to ask you all a hypothetical question:
Christians: if there was a holy war to remove all non-christians from America, what would you do?
Non-Christians: if the same happened, would you fight to protect the people you loved, or would you stand back and die peacefully.

No, I'm not promoting this kind of thing. No I don't think all christians are war-mongering fools. No, I don't think all these disclaimers should be necassary, but hey, people get really offended and post stupid irrelavant comments if I don't. no I don't want it to happen.
I just want people to think about where they stand.

If God is the only thing that ultimately would satisfy the human soul, that resonates with their awe that bring them lasting peace and hapiness... would it be unloving NOT to call people to come to God and find an inexhaustible sourse of enjoyment there? If somethings the best thing there is, woud it be selfish NOT to offer it to others to enjoy?
