They didnt have friends to stay with till they got back on their feet? I have over 20 people I could stay with if I got put in the situation.

I too have had my run ins with the homeless and I found that the majority do not want jobs, so my answer is the majority of them I vote they are lazy.

I t is great that you have people who will help you if you were put in this situation but everyone does not. If they had help I doubt they would be homeless! I have never met a homeless person who wanted to be that way. Most of them were just at the end of their rope or mentally unstable, others really didn't have anything, anywhere, or anyone to turn to! If you are truly concerned maybe you should volunteer at a homeless shelter, you will learn a lot , I have!

there's an old saying " but for the grace of god go i ". be glad u have so many people like that in your life. not everyone does so just be grateful. just in case u didn't know, it takes alot of work to live on the streets and survive so no i don't think they are all lazy and anyone that's just stupid has alot of resources available to them so that cant be it either. each one of them has a different set of circumstances that has put them there and i can imagine certain things that would put me on the street.

From my experience, homeless people are mostly mentally challenged. You know, because hospitals can't keep them locked in without some kind of permission.

20 people ? & how long would they put up with you ?
Most the homeless just do not make enough $$ to cover the current rents in America. You must be like a child who has NO clue about adult life yet. Mommy & Daddy still wiping your butt ?
