You are Not in the wrong section. Whether some here like it or not, witchcraft is part of Religion and Spirituality. These other people do not get to redefine these words.

I don't suggest starting with websites to learn about these things, as each website is merely the designers idea of what it is. But, if you are just wanting to browse websites to see what is out there, www.witchvox.com

Personally, I would direct you to some "history" books about it first. The History of Witchcraft by J Russell is a good book to look into. I wouldn't say all of the info in there is 100% correct, but his has been a good guideline book for study.

Witchcraft can be practiced as part of one's religion or as an art separate from any types of religious belief. Since you have posted this to the R&S section, I assume you are interested in neo-pagan religions which may include witchcraft. Here are some good resources for various neo-pagan religions:
http://www.religioustolerance.org/
http://religiousmovements.lib.virginia.edu/nrms/wicca.html
http://www.witchvox.com/_x.html?c=trads

There are many different neo-pagan paths. There is Wicca, Neo-Wicca, Shamanism, Druidry, Reconstructionist faiths, chaos or ceremonial magicians, etc. Without really knowing what you are interested in learning, I don't know which books you'd enjoy the most. What interests you most about witchcraft? What are your basic beliefs?
