did he feel the need to test abraham? was it to prove a point to abraham and his people or to prove something to GOD him self? i mean abraham knew GOD wasnt gonna let him kill his son, and GOD knew he wasnt gonna let him do it. so who did they have to prove this too?

My friend is dating a black man and she told me that she just dates him to see black women's reactions. I think that's kind of pathetic and funny since most black women don't even care. The reason I know that they don't care is because when I was in an interracial relationship, I never got a negative reaction from any black woman. I'm not saying that all white girls who date black men do this, because I didn't, but I think some white girls do. What's your opinion?

why do people ask time and time again such basic questions like why is there suffering? Why death? Why grow old? Why world so bad? What is the condition of the dead? why governments so corrupt? Why diseases and poverty rampage humanity?
And there is no answer from the churches even the Pope don't have the answer to why God allowed suffering

We have lived in our apartment now since February of 2006. The whole building has pretty much become new neighbors. All of them are much better than the ones we had, except, of course, the jerk-offs above us that pplay their bass all hours of the night. The day they moved in they asked us if we knew how to get some illegal substance for them, which was a bad sign to us right off the bat. We told them we have a premature child and don't have anything to do with that kind of stuff. Now they play this horrible music with the same, monontonous tone over and over again. I took my screaming baby up there after 3 hours of the stuff the other day and knocked on their door and rang their doorbell and they didn't come to the door but I could hear them walking around our bedroom ceiling, so I knew they were home. Mind you, my baby is on a heart and respiratory monitor and is preemie. The office pretty much won't do **** and I am going to lose my **** soon. How do I keep myself out of jail????????

I was walking in the snow in my neighborhood a few years ago and a man in a dress with hormone boobs came up to me. He was drunk and asked me to get some hot chocolate with him to warm up from the cold... I was so terrified..then I felt sorry for him and said OK and told him about Jesus. If the Bible says that it's the word of God and that every word of it is true and perfect, then what is moderate Christianity? Does it mean that you only think the Bible is partially true or that your soul is only partially going to heaven when you die? The Bible says that it's all true, so in order to be a Christian, you have to believe every word. If you don't believe some of it, then you are not a Christian. Moderates are not Christians. Only what we think of as radicals (the guys with the signs that say "God hates gays") are real Christians. This goes for Muslims as well. It's all or nothing folks. You can't sit on the fence. So if you want to ACTUALLY go to heaven, you need to kill your neighbor for not keeping the Sabbath.

It seems to me that most people, or the scriptures focused a lot on the days of Jesus before he was crucified, but whatever happened to Jesus when he resurrected after 3 days from the tomb? Since most Jews thought He was the false prophet and in fact, most didn’t believe in Him, what were their thoughts about Jesus after he was resurrected since it was apparent that, he is the Messiah. Did the Bible mention anything about Mary, His mother, and what did Jesus did with the rest of his life after resurrection and how old did Jesus lived?

Believe it or not, the ones Western society worship--the Romans and Greeks--had a promiscuous societies and were openly bisexual and homosexual.

I am not condoning promiscuous behavior due to the potential for disease, but if two adults want to have sex, why should others disapprove? If it is consensual and biologically safe, then why must others criticize? How do people lose self-respect if they engage in consensual sexual activity with other adults?

(I never used to think like this, but now I'm 20, meaning more common sense. )
