I went to a Halloween party many, many (many) years ago and this guy came dressed as a Christmas Tree! He had some kind of battery pack underneath all the tinsel and ornaments, because all the lights blinked as he walked around. He took second place in the costume contest (first place was a big, black dragon whose wings scraped the ceiling, but I thought Mr. Tree should have taken first place).

The best halloween costume i saw was on a dog! It was a wener dog dressed as a hot dog.

I was at a party ina club a few years back, and there was a guy dressed like the Child Catcher from the movie Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. I was actually AFRAID!! If you don't know what it looks like do a Google seach -- his costume was PERFECT and he had the "look" down, too. Excellent!!

When I was a child in grade school..about grade 2 or 3..(this is about 50 years ago)...there was another boy named Colin who came in a red plastic suit dressed as the devil( we all thought of this as terrific because all we had to work with was crepe paper)...I guess the suit was very hot and he sweated inside...but for weeks afterward Colin was bright red..because the dye had come off on his skin

I helped a friend dress as a flasher. He wore shorts and a flesh tone t-shirt unter a trenchcoat. I used an old pair of pantyhose and stuffing to construct a huge version of the "offensive bits" which I sewed to the shorts. We went to an adult party and he was the hit of the party.

A good friend of mine dressed up as Michael Jackson. He painted himself a ghostly white and then tied a bandana around his head so you could only see his eyes. And he had a doll that looked like a baby and carried it around covering its head. It was great.

Those really old trailer ladys with a ton of blue eyeshadow and curlerse in ther hair and a bathrobe and pink bunny slippers. I think I scared a ton of people it was wiked.

Once I seen a couple dressed as Fred and Wilma Flinstone. It was really cute.
I have been many different things and I don't think any of them were awesome.
