My friend is dating a black man and she told me that she just dates him to see black women's reactions. I think that's kind of pathetic and funny since most black women don't even care. The reason I know that they don't care is because when I was in an interracial relationship, I never got a negative reaction from any black woman. I'm not saying that all white girls who date black men do this, because I didn't, but I think some white girls do. What's your opinion?

I think most on the time is because they really want to be with him not cause trouble. I'm dating a white guy and I get tons of looks and comments, but I'm not going out with him for that I just think those people are being stupid.I wouldnt care if I saw a white girl with a black man human is human. I know some girls do give looks at white woman because they feel they are taking there black man away, when really they sound do the same and try dating outside of there race too, they'll be surprised.

You're right; that is the most pathetic logic I ever heard of. If a black woman has a problem with a black man and a white woman dating, that's HER problem. I have heard that there are some black women who feel there is a shortage of black men because they are dating white women. I totally disagree; there are millions of quality men who happen to be black AND single. Perhaps they haven't looked in the right places or they haven't been lucky to meet any- yet. Everyone has a right to have their dating preferences as far as race. Some black men prefer black women. Some prefer Asian or Hispanic women. Some black women prefer dating ONLY black men. Some don't at all. It's perfectly okay for everyone to have their preferences but I think we really should be looking beyond skin colors and evaluating the person's values and inner attributes ( not just appearances). I personally find black Latino men to be especially attractive to my eyes, but I ended up marrying my white husband because he's my best friend, confidant, and biggest supporter. Tell your friend that she should be less hateful and start dating for the right reasons!

I doubt that the general population of women reallly are looking at you or your friend or who you are dating. Your friend isn't really a very nice person, if she is using a man (black or white) just to see if she gets attention.

I've never seen a white woman date a black man just to piss black woman off. That sounds so childish and petty. She should date people that she is attracted to, irregardless of the color of their skin.

Just kidding, I don't (I don't date men) and I doubt any normal woman would date someone just to irritate an entire group of others.
If your friend is doing this then there is really something wrong and it is a terrible thing to do to the men.
