When you think about it, America is a part of almost every nation out there, meaning we are a part of everybody. America is made up from immigrants from all over the world, from Europe, Asia, South America, etc... When you hate or harm Americans, you are harming your own ancestors. Am I right?

I dont want to offend people. But i never understood why people who have a strong religious believe always get mad at things like harry potter and gays for one example? I was confirmed in the catholic church, had a strong faith, but slowly it is declining, and I have never got upset with things that may not agree with the bible, but I dont understand why die hard believers have to voice there anger. They give there religion a bad name, and arent really following the bible. I also have a lot of gay friends, and it is sick to see people get so upset over that topic. It is not the person's choice to be gay. And even if it is why fuss over it? God created them. He also created love. So if you have a problem with them, then you have a problem with god, and also if people mingle with there life and marriage, then what does that make you? You are stopping 2 people from showing there love. Would god approve? But if you dont like something why act up and make a fuss? I dont when i disapprove

Being a believer, I assume you know that the soul is NOT present until birth, according to the bible?
If so, you must also be pro-life with regards to *every living thing* regardless of the presence of a soul?

if someone is nigerian & english they look way different from someone who is African American (with no direct african roots) and caucasian american. I've noticed that. I'm not trying to say that all mixed people are supposed to look alike. But african & european mixed people look different from people who are mixed with white american & black american.
for example, sophie okonedo & thandie newton do not look like the average mixed girl. I looked at them that i knew they were mixed with africans, direct from africa.

The Bible says that men shouldn't lie, but it doesn't mention anything that God can't do. He is after all omnipotent, right? He can do anything. Even lie.

I do not subscribe to all the tenents of Christianity, but I beleive in Christ, and beleive he was indeed a prophet of God and a messenger of peace in this world. I follow no religion, I just pray on my own, meditate, and beleive in God and Christ. Does this make me a Christian by proxy in some people's eyes? I really don't care, beacuse I disagree with many teachings of the faith(s) and their many different sects. I just want to see if any others out there are like me, or what others think. My holy rolling aunt calls me a "confused pagan". LOL. Don't worry, I'm sure the mothership is coming to beam her up soon.

According to gallup stats, the more educated people are, the less likely they are to believe in God. Interesting. It certainly seems true looking around at the trailer trash.

And, yes, I know someone will respond and say 'I've got 10 PhDs and I believe in Jesus...", but I stand by the trend.

I am Lutheran, however, we recently moved and there is a Presbyterian Church right next to us. They hand out flyers for fun events, etc to the area and I want to know what I'm exposing my kids to if I let them go. I don't want them to hear something that I don't believe in if they go to one of these events.
