way that relates to probability? For Example A christian says: If I pray to god there is a 1/10 chance he will answer which would be more than if I didn't.

Ah no. At least I don't. I don't expect God to "answer" my prayers...I just hope that he hears them and thinks about possibly helping out a little...I just pray. Like I just offer a thought to God...like this. I am in the supermarket and I look at the candy and I say "God help me not to buy that candy." Now God doesn't really care if I buy or eat that candy, but it makes me feel better that someone heard me ask that. Those people who think that God really cares whether you drink a coke or not are nuts. Drink whatever you want for all he cares...

I'm not sure I really understand the question. I don't think Christians think this way - I don't think this way. Prayer isn't about wanting God to answer your prayers and if He doesn't answer you it means He's ignoring you. :) We do pray to God with our problems hoping he answers the way we want to - but really we pray to God because we only want His will. So...when God doesn't answer a prayer in the way we want, it's because we weren't asking for something he wanted us to have answered. There's no probability involved.

Can't speak for everyone but when I pray I do so with 100% faith that I will get an answer. It might not be the answer I want but I will get an answer. God knows your needs so usually you do not even have to pray, however he likes to talk to you and loves to be given thanks when you do get what you prayed for. Lots of people forget that side of it.

Well in a way it's true because I have found that it's better to live your life as there is a God and die finding out that you were wrong then live your life as if there wasn't a God and die and find out you were wrong. This was before my mustard seed sprouted (sort of)

Christians think in the FAITH way. Faith is commonly known as a belief, trust or confidence often based on a transpersonal relationship with God.

I haven't ever heard of any probability thing. And God answers every prayer, but not nessessarily a "yes" He's the one in control with his will governing everything, and keeping watch over our lives.

Where did you get the 1/10 deal? I'm sure I can't answer your question.

No, because God doesn't think that way. If He did, none of us would stand a chance.

yes we do think in ways of probability but not when it comes to God...
How long will you simple ones love your simple ways?
How long will mockers delight in mockery
and fools hate knowledge?

No, probability has very little to do with faith. If it did, we'd all be atheists.
