Bearing in mind there are still a lot of countries of the world I've yet to visit, so far I'd have to say the Philippines without a doubt. A nicer, friendlier, more hospitable people I've yet to meet. It helps the fact that the vast majority speak English as their first language, or the second in some cases. The cost of living there is very low. The climate is very nice, although it can get very hot sometimes and you also have to consider the typhoons and heavy rains during those seasons. The countryside is beautiful and they have coconuts that grow naturally on the trees as well as bananas. The food on the whole is delicious but the hospitality and friendly nature of the people has to be seen to be believed.

So if I was going to go somewhere else to live, and I actually really want to one day if/when I can afford it, that's where I'd go.

I would love to see Ireland - the home of my ancestors. I would love to see the old ruins. I would love to get in touch with my Irish side and perhaps create a bond with the people there.
