Have you considered that. If God created humans to have full controll over the earth, Doesnt that mean that we are able to take control of wind, fire, water, earth, animals, our destiny or even death? It could also mean that witchcraft is actually allowed because it uses nature. If so then theres no need to hide nor to be afraid. Please send me your opinion.

and also what does the phrase "dead on" mean?

Do people understand that wether or not Charles Darwin did anything or even lived has nothing to do with the Theory of Evolution?

I keep reading this on yahoo answers, that Charles Darwin said something on his deathbed and that means Evolution is false.

Do people know that isn't true? Or are they like, injured in their brains?

My cousin is a garderner working with my father. he is studying english at night school.. and in his homework there are idioms he must learn but, i don't see the point of learning a bunch of idioms that only outgoing Americans have mastery and tradtion of using.
Here's an example:
-squeaky clean
-shaggy
-the pigtail set ( referring to young girls)
-cliche

etc etc. the only people i ever here using this kind of words are white people or acculturated americans, fiction books. I was born here in usa but i never ever use any of these idioms, the only American people i have contact with are in work related settings. It's a stupid thing to waste time with idioms when students are not realy ever going to be part of white people's culture or be bookworms. And also his class is english second level..it's not like an advanced class or anything. "cliche" when do I ever use that? my god.

First off, I'm not trying to stereotype my own people, but I've noticed that a lot of black gays and lesbians feel the need for one of them to be 'the man' and the other to be 'the woman' in a relationship. Like I said, it's not all black gays but quite a few of them. I am a black lesbian, but am not like this. The two gay couples I know are like this. My cousin who is gay, is feminine and usually dates masculine men. But now he is dating another fem man and says that his boyfriend is the wife and he is the husband. Why can't they both be the husband? The same with my gay friends, They are lesbians, both fem, but think that one of them has to be referred to as a stud in order for them to be considered gay. I'm not saying there is anything wrong with fem-stud relationships,to each it's own, I'm just saying do they understand that they don't have to take on these roles. if they were to do this naturally, it'd be okay. But they do this because they think it's the only way to do it.

I don't believe in God. I'm just asking a question, how does infinity fit with the Atheism. You might think the two are perfect together, or that they are not.

Its just, a question.

I live in a place that when you drive down the road you must have patience for the many tractors, you first learn to drive in a big ole' rusty truck (trying not to run into the pond) at probably around 10 years old, theirs generally at least 3 old cars up on cement blocks in everybody's yard, every body goes to granny's house after church on Sunday, every where you look their are horses (or cows, or tobacco, or chickens!), everyone is conservative and pretty religious(bible belt baby), you see confederate flags allot (though not a sign of racism now, though some may think that. But more of a sign of the “old ways” and rednecks). A Saturday consists of a day at the pond listening to the Allman Brothers (who cares if you scare off the fish?) and the night time is drinking Jack Daniels (from a bootlegger no less considering we are a dry county) while playin' all the Rolling Stones songs you know. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and ALWAYS consists of these things: grits, fried apples, biscuits, bacon, sausage, eggs, gravy....and more added on. We run our words together often (i.e. ya'll, you'ns,) and say things like “well I reckon that there is a trout and not no bass“ or ”do what?“ instead of just ”what“. We value morals very deeply though don't always abide by them until we are older (sorry but that's the truth or else their wouldn't be no business for the bootleggers!), and when the fair comes to town everything closes (from businesses to the schools) because everyone goes.....and I guess that's all I'll tell you, even though that doesn't even sum it up.

Quoting 'Jewbag J' (THAT'S NOT ME IN CASE YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT THE WORD QUOTE MEANS.)::::

"Jesus does not have to tell me to and I would stab you in you in the face until I made mush just because you are a SCUMBAG

If you hear knocking you may want to think twice before answering the door, it may be me

You are a JERK OFF "

Another pearl of wisdom from the many scumbags on this website.

And then Christians will be hated and betrayed by their own parents, brothers and sisters.

When you have become Christians have experienced thus?
Or only when you have become Christian, will experience these?

Is there anyone interested in helping a young underprivileged girl to try to do something with her life? I am a girl who is trying to go back to school for Spanish Language and Literature and I hope to be able to do that and study abroad too someday...that has always been my dream...at this point, whether it be Spain, Mexico, or Puerto Rico would be fine with me...but i have to go back to school for the thing that I have always wanted to pursue. I know that there are so many programs, scholarships, grants, aid, funding, help, etc. for underprivileged people, it just sometimes takes some research and I am doing my part daily, believe me, but I figure I would let the internet do some of the research as well. Sometimes even there are senior citizens who would love to donate to underprivileged young people who are trying to do something with their lives, and it may be in a part. field, but either way, there are opportunities for help out there...i am seeking it, it just needs to be found..

On these posts there are obvious fanatics who quote the Bible as if it makes a point. I've read it more than once and have heard too many supposed "Christian" views on how they choose to interpret it. All in all it ends up giving the opposite effect when someone starts barking out quotes from the Bible that we know is badly flawed rather than face the questions with real, thought out answers. You have to know the Bible you're reading was written a long, long time ago, lots of it is missing, and lots of it was left out or changed to fit the ideas of the people of the time. Is there a Christian religion that can face those facts and stop ignoring reality?

Even when nowadays China is very popular and many people think that it will surpass the US as first economic power I dont see China becoming a cultural power for example..I think the US still is the center for trends in almost every part of cultura whether is music, clothes, pop music, movies..I mean yo get my point? ...still the biggest celebrirties in the world are americans, the Ipod is american isn´´t it? ..the biggest companies are americans, I dont see for instance everybody learning chinese instead of English......What do you think???

NOTE: there is no doubt that China will become a bigger economy and right now there is more growth and expecations for China , however I dont see China becoming a country like the US in the cultural or even political sense.....well maybe political but definetly not cultural......
