a lack of sleep during formative years stunts growth, we grow when we are asleep, so I guess coffee could stunt growth if it kids drink some before bedtime (or drink caffinieted drinks like cola)

Not if you speak Spanish. The English language combines with the caffeine to stunt the growth. But if the child speaks Spanish, growth will be unaffected.
