Why is extremism, often manifested in violence such a part of the Islamic religion?

Extremism has been part of many religions but in the past decade nothing compares to the violence and lack of tolerance of other religions that the Muslims exhibit

Give tidings (O Muhammad) of a painful doom to those who disbelieve. 9:3

Slay the idolaters wherever you find them. 9:5

Give tidings (O Muhammad) of a painful doom to the rich and greedy Christian monks and Jewish rabbis. 9:34

If you refuse to fight, Allah will afflict you with a painful doom. 9:39

Fight the disbelievers and hypocrites. Be harsh with them. They are all going to hell anyway. 9:73

Believers must fight for Allah. They must kill and be killed , and are bound to do so by the Torah, Gospel, and Quran. But Allah will reward them for it. 9:111

Fight disbelievers who are near you, and let them see the harshness in you. 9:123

I think extremism exist in any religion and any political party or in any race.or in any organization.It is because there is no perfect human and human is always tempted by satans.Adam and Evedropped from heaven into this earth because they were tempted by satan..You must make a red line between Islamic teaching and the attitude of a few of its follower.Violence and lack of tolerance I think are only a bad attitude of them but as a whole most muslims are obey,peace loving and full tolerance.Did you know why they have bad attitude ?They become an extremist and intolerance caused by non muslim bad attitude.They suppressed and attacked muslims in several parts of the world such as Libanon,Iraq,Afghanistan etc..Muslims everywhere feel as sisters and brothers.They have a strong solidarity.So non muslims should stopped in hurting , humiliating,bombing and attacking and killing innocent muslims if you do not want to be a victim of their retaliation.You see only muslim extremist but I see also many non muslim extremists.

Islam is a lifestyle that begins at birth. They indoctrinate their children with hate and violence from the time they take their first steps. It is impossible to change the mindset once it has been preached for so long. By the way, all religious extremists indoctrinate from childhood. Which explains why people who live in cults don't often leave. It is the norm to them.
