My husband had kidney stones over the weekend, he was getting sick in the bathroom and I was trying to talk him into going to the emergency room. I had healing bible scriptures sitting on my ironing board, they flew from the ironing board to the floor in the bathroom door way. I read him the scriptures and then some of the book of Psalms. A short while later I layed my hands on his back and prayed that God that He would take that kidney stone and crush it in his hands...at the moment those words left my lips the pain was gone. It was so amazing. I want to hear about other people's experiences.

I have recently read about things such as crystal magick and asked a question a while back regarding negative energy. I got one interesting answer that crystals should not be charged with negative energy and put to use because they contain the users personal energy signature and will drain his energy as well as the person on the recieving end. This is just a (fairly crappy) example. But if this was true, how do you go about increasing your own personal power/energy levels? Is there any similarity between the way wiccans/pagans utilize power and the way that eastern martial artists utilize it through arts such as tai chi, dim mak and qi gong? Would doing exercises from these systems increase the amount of energy that could be used for magickal applications such as crystal magick, ritual magick, and so on? Is it a common energy that martial arts systems and spiritual magicians utilize? If so, how best to increase it?

"We tell the worshipper of the cross (the Pope) that you and the West will be defeated, as is the case in Iraq, Afghanistan, Chechnya," said an Internet statement by the Mujahideen Shura Council, an umbrella group led by Iraq's branch of al Qaeda, according to the Reuters news agency.
"We shall break the cross and spill the wine. ... God will (help) Muslims to conquer Rome. ... God enable us to slit their throats, and make their money and descendants the bounty of the mujahideen," said the statement.

So much for "Islam means peace"...

How can Muslims justify this kind of rhetoric?

Why could not allah figure out the corruptions which the people of book have made to the scriptures?
If he had given the scriptures he should have known the corrupted parts and would have specifically figure out them.
Why do allah ask muslims to refer the corrupted scriptures, if they have any doubts?
Since allah failed to figure out the aclaimed corruptions, it is clear that the Scriptures were not given by allah before the Koran and nor he was the Almighty God of Jews and Christians.

I Challenge allah and his followers to give me the answer with evidence.

NYC being the home of the United Nations) and produce something great -- just like the builders of the Tower of Babel. And even the designation of 'whore' is quite applicable as at the entrance to NYC is found the welcoming Statue of Liberty, a great woman symbolizing the great city.

Do you agree?

If Islam is a peaceful nation and Muslim is a peacful religion then why all of the protesting. Don't they realize that they are making themselfs look worse by buring flags and causing riots. Just ignor what the Pope said. Who cares. People didn't hardly notice what he said until Islam started making a big deal about it. I just don't think people are being smart about it. I just wanted to know what others views are. Please he honest and not nasty! Thanks

I’m 26 and weigh 130kg; in the ‘obese’ category. I’m single, never had a boyfriend, even though I’ve been told I have a ‘pretty face’ I am quite sure no one has ever been physically attracted to me. Yet, I am still happy the way I am! I love the way I look, I don’t cringe when I see myself naked. When I was younger my dream was to be thin but now I have other dreams. I see the way people look at me ‘no matter how pretty your clothes are you will always look fat’. Am I stupid for wearing pretty things? Are only slim girls admired for dressing nicely!? I know there are disadvantages of being very large; hunting for clothes that actually fit you, wondering if you are going to fit in economy seats, tolerating people looking at you passing stupid comments and giving shitty advise on how to ‘loose weight’. Why should I feel bad if I am fat, why should I change myself to please society, why should I have to loose weight to find love? Why should I let people make me feel bad about my body?

Humans live to die, why put so much love in man, emotions are important, yet, nowadays illusions, lies, materialism, ego, drugs, and money is so important to people. Why do people fail to realize it's more to life than what is here on earth? When devastation hit , most humans find it to much to deal with and want someone els to take the blame, or come up with an excuse to live. Where is peoples strength, faith in self, God, and their own responsibility for self. There no longer is rooting of family in this world. We seem to be searching for undiscovered people and places to place our faith, strength, and responsibilities in. Therefore we are allowing unknown cultures to diversite us. We have so many laws, and rules for our own, yet none for the newsomers, we except their ways so readily, we foreget our own rootings and except the new ways. So, we fight our parents, elders, and teachers, laws of our land and become confused as we are today. A world full of debased people.

I am sure you all will agree with me that women tend to shed more tears. Are they more touchy than men? Or is it that they, unlike men folk, experience anything so poignantly that they live 100% up to that emotion. Or is a technique of higher adaptability?! You know when you cry, you can easily come over that tragedy. You feel fresh--a good catharsis, perhaps. Whatever, i'm bemused........pls answer me
