Whoa! Slow down there cowboy! Those are two seperate questions. God and the Church are two totally seperate entities. I love God (and the Goddess, too) but I do not love the Church. Please notice that I didn't use the word "hate". Hate is not good for the mind, the body or the soul.

God and the Church are entirely seperate. God is a being. The Church is an institution of likeminded, overly-dogmatic people who attempt to interfere in politics and governmental policy, which is the last place they need to be.

I'm wondering where you have come up with that conclusion. I am an atheist, and I cannot hate something that doesn't exist, and although I know the "church" exists, I don't hate it, I am just offended by the acts of people belonging to such a church.

I put my faith in God

only to find it was a local man

who used my trust in parents "to do right thing" but before I was old enough to make own educated decisions

I find it a cheap shot to use kids's trust, thier natural instinct and some cultures forbid this and raise kids with education first and let them come to reasonable conclusions later when accountable and responsible for thier actions

I see "god" as a manipulation tool and "Church" as the organization to organize the control of the masses

I often wonder why so many love Religion and the Church.

I don't hate God. He does not exist. I do get aggravated with the religion..

It is pointless to hate an imaginary being. All churches and the like propagate delusional beliefs which can lead to mental illness and violent behavior.
