"We tell the worshipper of the cross (the Pope) that you and the West will be defeated, as is the case in Iraq, Afghanistan, Chechnya," said an Internet statement by the Mujahideen Shura Council, an umbrella group led by Iraq's branch of al Qaeda, according to the Reuters news agency.
"We shall break the cross and spill the wine. ... God will (help) Muslims to conquer Rome. ... God enable us to slit their throats, and make their money and descendants the bounty of the mujahideen," said the statement.

It is much more complicated than you are trying to simplify. Within millions of Muslims, there are some extreemists and terrorists, we never denied it. But what we are saying is: this is not the truth of Islam, and you can check it yourself if you wished, and that your CNN is showing you the only bad minority. On the other hand, most of those extreemists are able only to SAY that they will do. They are really unable to do any thing. That is why, we, the majority, the true moderate muslims hate those extreemists within us so much. They just disfegure our religion by their loud voice and big lies and they give a good excuse for the media to shap us as an all out a group of terrorist.

Stupid statements begets stupid answers........The above quoted do not represent the stand for muslims all over the world just like the pope's comments is not the presentation of Christians minds. The seat of the vetican is in Rome (Italy) compare the crime rate in Italy and the rest of the European country which more. I think the pope can do better in cleaning italy of its vices before he thinks of liberating Europe from islam. Could it be that the vatican failed in its resposibility as a religious organisation that is why islam is gaining ground in Europe?. Islam will conquer Europe but not by war or blood spillage but by the power of God.

All they want is total dominance of the people of the world to act as they act , to think as they think , to worship as they worship ... I seems to me that this council wears the coat of Islam to be taken on & off as they please .
My knowledge of the Quran is limited but from what I read about it is that it is a religion of peaceful coexistence & they are right ,,,,, There is only one GOD & he or she has many names ...
They are not defending the Islamic faith but defending the use of violence against what they precieve as disrepect of their thinking ....
Majority of the Muslim faith don´t understand the tenants of the Quran & rely on the mullahs & Imans to help them .. unfortunately a few mullahs & Imans put their own thoughts & hatred as to what the Quran says thus preverting the Quran to their own use ...
There is no excuse for the use of violence against innocent , peaceful people.
The council uses violence for the sake of violence trying to steal the leadership of the Muslim faith away from the true leaders , those who advocate peace & harmony for everyone ...
They have no excuse that a rational person would understand ....
The only excuse they have is their own preverted hatred towards those who don´t agree with them ..............

To all my Muslim brothers and sisters online here. I think the best solution to the hated question being repeated posted here is just to be patient and be tolerance. Dun get upset about their comments. We know it ourselves that Islam is not about violence. Just ignore these fools and let us go about doing other things tat are more important than trying to convince these people about our religion. We cannot change them if they would not want to change themselves.
Just pray to Him for guidance. Ramadhan is around the corner, pray to Him for the safety of other Muslims and also to the other people from diff races and religion. And pray for peace. Those radical muslims will get their retribution here or the life-after. All we can do is pray. And hope for the best.

GREAT question. I have been asking and answering this exact question myself on here in the last few days. I too am seeking evidence of this so-called "peaceful" religion. Its a load of BS. Peaceful my eye... all I see is kill, kill, kill. Muslims will never defeat either Christianity or Judaism. They are blinded by hate and make stupid decisions.
